Oh I am so on to these companies now…..

in My Life,Silly Fun

This morning as I was having my shower I read the back of the shampoo bottle and found this:

Go back to that amazing hair day. Escape into a world of exotic pleasure and unleash the power of your beautifully replenished hair. Seductively lush and wild, this fragrant shampoo, exclusively blended with 100% organic botanicals and essences of coconut and plam oils, will take your hair to a place it’s never been before: deeply quenched and naturally flowing.

Seriously?

Who falls for this crap? Oh right, that would be me! It’s no wonder I have problems!

What? It’s not true?? Oh, I’m so disappointed. Well, at least I can return the bottle since I haven’t used it yet. Thanks for the heads up. Ah, heads up, get it? I just came up with that. Wow, I need to get out more.

Ahh, you’re not alone. I’m a sucker too. There’s nothing better than a new product with great promises.

Have a great weekend :)

It’s like my cereal, which by all accounts can transform me into a beautiful tanned beach babe running along the beach. At least the picture is nice!

Seriously, my daughter has it worse than you or anyone I’ve ever known. She buys every single new hair product out there; uses it for a bit and then is off to the next new one. When she came home at Christmas she brought two plastic trash bags full of half or over half full bottles of shampoos, conditioners, gels, mousses, smoothers, lifters, heat protector sprays, staighteners, etc.
I keep thinking one day she will eventually have tried everything and there won’t be anything new. Her younger sister and I sure had a blast dividing up the stuff she brought home though! :)

LOL! I read those things too and think they’re crazy. But I guess they’re effective for some! ;)

WAIT…STOP… let me get this picture right!! u are in the shower reading the shampoo bottle??? WOW…that alone impresses me!! I have no clear eye sight in there.. every time I take a shower(every day,LOL) I cant figure out which is shampoo and which is conditioner.. I put them in specific spots, every day. then I forget which spot is which? so if u are standing in the shower reading about long flowing locks, girl, consider urself lucky!!
ps. am also a hair product junkie, just cant read em in the shower!! LOL

Two things wrong with this in my life…
#1, I can’t see the shampoo bottle, much less read it without my glasses
and #2, I have no time to read in the shower!
Consider yourself lucky to be able to do both!

Seriously? Who WRITES that stuff? Do they really think we buy that brand because of that line of bologna?

If my hair goes to an exotic place can the rest of me go, too?

I too can’t read in the shower without my glasses and have to leave the shampoo and conditioner bottle in the same spot so I know which is which. I unfortunately have a problem with saying no at the hairdressers when they say just get this product and your hair will look as good as it does right now. NOT!!!!. Trouble is they don’t tell me that you also need to do a coupla years apprentiseship in a hair salon to be able to blow dry as well. LOL.

My daughter and I have the same problem; we are suckers when it comes to hair products. This week-end we cleared out one 13 gallon size bag of “hair stuff” that we just knew would answer all our hair issues, did any of it? No, not really!
