Welcome to Menu Plan Monday!
Hi friends! I’m back, did you miss me? 🙂 It was so nice to celebrate Thanksgiving here last weekend. And my son made it home! His car was kind to him and didn’t give him any troubles, yay. The meal was absolutely delicious as well. The dessert I made was really tasty. It was a Paleo Pumpkin Coffee Cake recipe and even my hubby thought it was good. Neither of us like a strong pumpkin flavor and these weren’t which was nice. I ended up eating most of it though for breakfast during the week, yum! Life’s too short not to eat cake for breakfast once and awhile, right?! Especially a healthy one! 🙂
My son (12) as you know has taken over cooking dinner every Tuesday and it is working out so well. He is really enjoying picking out the recipe each week and then working in the kitchen by himself. His confidence is growing. I can’t eat the food he makes (because it’s not Paleo) but that’s okay. Those are usually the nights I cook myself some seafood. If you haven’t yet gotten your kids in the kitchen, you definitely should. So worth it!
This week I’m starting another round of the Faster Way to Fat Loss program. I went through the six week program last year and really liked it so wanted to try it again. I like that all the exercises are laid out for me to follow and don’t take long to complete. Plus I really like the built in accountability aspect of it. Has anyone else done it?
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Honey Mustard Chicken Thighs served with tossed salad
Tuesday: Easy Pizza Casserole
Wednesday: Tomato Basil Turkey Meatloaf served with rice and broccoli
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me 10 Minute Lemon Garlic Shrimp with Zucchini Noodles
Saturday: Chicken Shawarma Salad with Tahini Dressing
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
