Pleated Poppy Giveaway

Updated to add:  This giveaway is now over…the winner is #103 Annie!

Outside of the BIG customer appreciation giveaway I am running this month (this week up for grabs is a Velcro prize package!), I did promise you another giveaway and while it’s not directly related to organization, I’m pretty sure you’re going to like it anyway 🙂

You’ve probably seen The Pleated Poppy around blogland.  Owner, Lindsey, is well known for her most adorable Posy Pins.

Seriously cute!  They’d dress up any outfit for sure.  Now I don’t own any Pleated Poppy products myself but if I did it would have to be one of her amazing Bloom Bags.

or any of these pretty babies.  The necklace is such a gorgeous blue color.

and if I was a headband kind of gal, which I secretly wish I was but for some reason can’t seem to pull off, then these ones would definitely float my boat.  Except I’d also have to be a baby or a toddler since that’s who Lindsey makes them for…lol.  Oh well a girl can dream can’t she?

If you need a pretty way to organize things in your back pocket or purse, then these itty bitty pouches are your tool.  Perfect for business cards.

I also love this picture I found on Lindsey’s blog that shows she’s also organized.  Funny though, now suddenly I have an urge to sew just so I can organize pretty fabric 🙂

If you’d like to win a $25.00 gift certificate to The Pleated Poppy, so you can go on a fun little shopping spree, just leave a comment on this post prior to Sunday, October 24th at 4:00 pm PST. And for kicks, I’d love to know if you rock a headband although that’s not mandatory to enter this giveaway…..I’m just nosy and well jealous if you do 🙂

  1. Although I could not rock that headband, I could rock that gorgeous blue necklace!
    Thanks for the chance. 🙂

  2. Hmmmm, not sure I can ‘rock’ it, but I definitely still wear headbands. I’ve even started venturing into putting flowers in my hair, as well. Just a little something to dress up the everyday pony tail look.
    Great giveaway!

  3. Hmm…not sure if I really rock it, but I wear one from time to time. Nothing as cute as those flower ones though! Love ’em!

  4. Lots of cute stuff on that site! Love the little zippered pouches & wristlet pouches. The headbands are adorable, and I would totally wear one, but they appear to be baby sized.

  5. Sadly, I cannot wear headbands. My head is the wrong shape. No, really, it is. The ones that go all around my head slide up my flattened-head-syndrome, and the plastic ones either pinch behind my ears or fall off. :/
But I can definitely wear necklaces. 😉

  6. I love all Lindsey’s work and appreciate the chance to win some of it! I could wear headbands in my 20s but at this point in my life? Not so much.

  7. Headbands always give me headaches! There are SO many cute ones now with flowers and such I’d love to try again to see how it goes. I’ve got to get some of the flower pins to dress up my sweaters!

  8. Can I rock it? I don’t know! Let’s find out! I have 3 sets of poppies and I looooove them all. Great giveaway!

  9. Oooooh, so cute! I haven’t worn a headband in forever, but I’d love to give those a try (if my daughter doesn’t steal them from me)!

  10. No rockin’ the headbands for me either, but I love love love the Bloomin’ Poppy Bag!!

  11. I love the blue& yellow posy pins – they would look perfect on my blue jacket. Alas, headbands hurt my head so no I cannot rock a headband. Although, as a baby I sure needed them as I was one of those baldy kids.

  12. I don’t “rock headbands” in public – I don’t have the guts … but I DO wear them at home. Perhaps one day I will be brave! I would also LOVE to win a Pleated Poppy gift certificate. Thanks!!

  13. Rock headbands, I’m not afraid to wear them anywhere, yuhoo!!

I will love to win that certificate to choose my headband in the Pleated Poppy.

  14. Fun Giveaway, I wish I could rock a headband, but they are way too tight around my head!

  15. I love it!! Headbands give me headaches, so I wear them rarely and only for awhile!

  16. I rock a plain black headband every day, I could use some of Lindsey’s stuff in my life!

  17. I love the look of hairbands, but can’t seem to pull it off as well. Love the flowers. Would love to win.

  18. Me me me! Yay! I love this stuff! So cute! And yes, I can rock a headband ;0) But I’m also a hat person, so maybe it’s all in the head shape?

  19. I rock a headband. Only in the evening when I’m cleaning and don’t have to go anywhere! Otherwise, it stays at home.

  20. I wear a headband every once in a while. I don’t think its my best look but I don’t have any that are super cute so maybe that is the problem!

    Thanks for the giveaway!

  21. I don’t know if I can rock a headband….I haven’t tried since I was a little girl! I’ve now been inspired to try!

  22. I love her stuff! I also love that picture of her fabrics! I also have mine stacked for the world to see, they’re just too pretty to put behind closed doors!

  23. I do wear headbands but I am not sure if I should or not! Her stuff is SO much fun!!

  24. Very cute! What is it about organized fabric that just makes us women smile, even those of us who don’t sew?

  25. I wear headbands a lot. I have two that are my “go to” when my bangs are getting too long, and lots other that are used sparingly.

  26. Head bands are cute but i haven’t “rocked” one in a while. Love the posies! They are cuter than yo yo’s!

  27. I WISH I could pull off a head band!! Unfortunately my noggin is too big. I love The Pleated Poppy. I stop by all the time to drool and update my CHRISTmas list. 🙂

  28. nope, can’t do a headband even tho my hair is as long as its ever been since college! but my daughter looks great in one, even the “prewrap” version all the girls around here sport nowadays – nothing cute about pre wrap!

  29. I am commenting.
I sometimes wear headbands, but my head is WAY bigger than an infant, or toddler’s. And I can’t wear them for too long because I get headaches. But there is sure a lot of other cool stuff to choose from.

  30. I love everything I’ve seen at the Pleated Poppy! Never have been able to pull off wearing headbands. Wish I could, but I have two new granddaughters that look sooo cute in them!

  31. definitely cute…. and I want her very organized sewing shelf…lol.. with all that wonderful fabric!

  32. I’m not so good with headbands, but I could definitely use some for my hair-lacking 7 month old sweetheart! 🙂

  33. I can’t rock or wear handbands – they just don’t stay on my head correctly. But would love a Posy Pin to dress up some outfits.

  34. Even if I can’t ‘rock’ the headband – I’d still do it anyways. Who cares what others think I should or shouldn’t wear. It’s cute and I would totally make it rock regardless.

  35. I have definitely been known to rock a headband on occasion; I love the ones with the rubber grips to keep your hair in place while exercising!

  36. This would be great! Thanks for the opportunity! (and no, can’t rock the headband!)

  37. I am in love with this store!! Thanks so much for the chance to win a fabulous treat 🙂

  38. No, I don’t rock a headband, but I think they look really cute on everyone else!

  39. Her fabrics are beautiful! Thanks for the giveaway and for sharing your amazing talents. BTW, I don’t wear headbands, but I have three darling daughters who do 🙂

  40. I love headbands and would love to rock one from Pleated Poppy! But, I just can’t seem to wear them with my glasses. Boo. 🙁 Would love some of those cute poppy pins, though!

  41. I’d love to win! I can’t rock a headband at all. They make me look like I’m 12.

  42. Love all these pretty things! Nope, can’t rock a headband but I keep trying to get my 9-yr-old daughter to. She refuses!

  43. headbands have captured my attention again this fall. sparkly or subtle. patterned or plain…..I LOVE THEM! 🙂

thanks for this chance to win. what a CUTE giveaway!!

    *crossing my fingers*

  44. Those are all so cute! I hate to sew – but I know what you mean about how pretty her shelves look – so colorful! I don’t sport headbands (they usually give me a headache) I’d love for my 1yr old daughter to wear them, but alas, as soon as I put one on, she takes it OFF!! Someday she’ll realize how important looking cute can be! LOL!!

  45. Oooohhh, pretty!!

And yes, I do wear headbands, but just plain ones most of the time!

  46. I LOVE all of those cute accessories. As for headbands, I think they are adorable, I buy them, I get them home and they give me a headache. So I have a lovely collection of headbands all of which have been worn for about 15 minutes. Annoying…

But maybe I need one more from the Pleated Poppy! 🙂

  47. I can rock a headband. 🙂 I have a great one with a cute little bow on it. I kind of feel silly when I wear it, but it looks really cute on! But mostly I wear plain black or brown ones to keep my hair back. They are thin plastic ones, and you can barely see it in my hair.

  48. Pleated Poppy’ entire store in on my Christmas list! LOL She has got such fabulous stuff! (And no, I can’t rock a headband no matter how hard I try!)

  49. Neither my li’l head, nor I, can wear a headband anymore. 🙁

LOVE that cute li’l business card holder. And the “bloom bag” — cute! Oh, and the necklace — beautiful. Ah, heck, it’s all gorgeous!

Thanks for the chance to win your awesome candy!! 🙂

  50. I look pretty cute with a headband on, but unfortunately, the shape of my head makes it difficult to keep them on! So, I rarely try any more.

I’d love to try some of this stuff for my daughter!

  51. I can’t rock headbands, my head is just way too big. It does not look that large but when I put something on it……….watch out. In fact, I have a real problem finding hats that fit me at all. All these items are so cute!

  52. I love the picture of her sewing area! I’m a big fan of headbands, but my head must be shaped weird because the ones that go all the way around just slip off.

  53. I dont wear headbands, but I put them on my daughter all the time. She’s not always happy about it but I love seeing her in them!
Thanks for the chance to win.

  54. I LOVE the pleated poppy! Just bought an itty bitty pouch to give a gift card in. I would not rock the headband but my little girl sure did before she had hair!

  55. thanks for the chance to win… the pleated poppy website has the cutest things on there. i love headbands but they wont stay on my head so i dont wear them!

  56. At nearly 40 I can and do still rock the headband. I absolutely love the pleated poppy. Thanks for introducing me and for a chance to win.

  57. Her products are so adorable! I also noticed that I have the same alphabet animal posters that she has behind her organized fabric storage…they are in my baby’s room – I love them!

  58. I love her stuff, but I do not look good in headbands- they’re so super cute though.

  59. I would love to win your drawing – thank you.

I usually only wear a headband around the house – cleaning, mowing, washing my face – but my sunglasses serve the same purpose often. I am also envious of those who “wear them well”.

  60. I can rock a headband. My hair dresser actually once said, “You look really nice in headbands.” On the other hand, my daughters should not wear headbands and they insist on wearing them ALL the time.

  61. I’m like you – would love to rock the headband – but just can’t quite pull it off! I love the Pleated Poppy! Thanks for a chance to win some of her goodies!

  62. Her stuff is so colorful! All the patterns are really cute. I really like the blue of the necklace.

  63. I can rock a selective few headbands, though I only wear them when out because most of them give me a headache. Pleated Poppy is adorable and I would love to get free $ for her store!

  64. Such cute stuff!!!!!! I never have been a headband girl, so it would probably go around a flower pot or something, like you have in the picture….

  65. i can’t rock a headband because my hair looks good on one side and the other not so much! wish i could, though. i’m jealous of people who can make such cute handmade things!

  66. I just went on TPP site, and I am in love Thanks for sharing this with us! I love her pins, and since I tend to wear a lot of black and neutral/solid clothes, these are sure to sass up my wardrobe. Headbands? I’m not a fan of wearing these,

  67. I just went on TPP site, and I am in love! Thanks for sharing this with us! I love her pins, and since I tend to wear a lot of black and neutral/solid clothes, these are sure to sass up my wardrobe. Headbands? I’m not a fan of wearing these, but they sure are cute for those who do!

  68. What a fun give-away! Such cute stuff. And while I can’t usually pull off a head band myself (sometimes I can when my hair is ALOT shorter), I have a brand new baby girl who would look fabulous in one!

  69. OMG, I totally wish I could rock the headband too….sadly, I look, so silly in them. They also make me look like a little girl, not the youthful 25 year old I am. =) I also totally wish I could win that awesesome blue necklace!

  70. I love the necklace. Although I have tried many times, I cannot rock a headband. Wahhh!

  71. I wish I could rock the headband but I’d have to say I just don’t have it BUT I could easily spend $25 at the Pleated Poppy! 🙂

  72. Unfortunately I can’t rock a headband but my Beautiful daughter can! Thanks for the nice giveaway!

  73. I don’t know if I can still rock a headband or not. I haven’t worn one in ages! I would love to win the gc to The Pleated Poppy! I love her stuff.

  74. I just discovered The Pleated Poppy, and I love her work. Regarding the headband, I have been wanting to try one. Maybe a headband will help hide some of my stray gray hairs that show when I pull my hair back!

  75. I can’t rock the head band, but I take care of two adorable baby girls and these would make awesome christmas presents!

  76. The items are beautiful! And I agree, I’d love to be able to pull off a headband. Although I’ve never actually tried. I may have to give it a shot sometime! 🙂

  77. Those are adorable! I also love how organized her sewing materials are… wish I could say the same about mine. And, no, I don’t rock a headband, but my 3 year old does!

  78. Awww…me and headbands, nope. I have a funny shaped head and cant wear them. But there are so many other yummies in her store that I would love to give a whirl.

  79. Would love to win!

I rocked a big floral headband for the first time a few weeks ago. My sister gave me the confidence saying how awesome it looked & I totally felt pretty. 🙂

  80. Totally cute style! And I often do “rock” a headband, due to the fact I am a rockstar.A broke rockStar at that,(this is why I need to win this contest)but none the less,A busy mom of three RoCkStaR! 🙂

  81. Adorable stuff!!! And no on the headbands. I have several because I think they’re adorable, but I hate them every time I put it on! Oh well.

  82. i love her things, although i’ve never owned any. and no–i can’t seem to pull off a headband! i don’t know why…i’ve tried many times. it must be the shape of my head….just doesn’t work for me. bummer, because i love them on other people. but i do LOVE me some pretty barettes!
