Organize magazine ~ because I just can’t help myself….

Last week I got my new edition of Organize magazine! Raise your hand if you DON’T know how much I love this magazine! Seriously maybe I haven’t mentioned it before but this magazine is fantastic and brilliant and NO they aren’t paying me to say this…lol. I just love it and I think everyone needs to read it. The organizational goodness falls neatly amongst the beautifully designed glossy pages just screaming for you to caress them lovingly as you drool read. If you are laughing right now you have clearly not read the magazine. Go buy it NOW (Borders, Barnes & Noble, OfficeMax, OfficeDepot) and come back and tell me I’m not making all this up.

One of my favorite articles is by Professional Organizer, Monica Ricci. Monica’s article Clutter-Free Gifting, shares that if you’re looking for the perfect gift this holiday season to consider consumable gifts. She offers many ideas to do just that. Most people just don’t need more “stuff” but who couldn’t use movie tickets, dinner or grocery certificates, a family portrait or better still, a massage!

Are you are enjoying this magazine as much as I am? What’s your favorite part?

  1. We do lots of consumable gifting for Christmas. This year it’s definitely going to be those reed diffusers I mentioned in a post this week.

You are too funny about your magazine. I’m afraid I have never read this magazine. I set my drool onto a good cooking magazine. LOL!

  2. I can’t find the magazine in the store. I really want to get it. I also looked through my kids magazine order form.

I should put it on my “holiday” wish list.

  3. Hey Ter, it’s not clutter if you pass it on to someone special, however I’ll have to hang onto mine cause you never know when I’m going to need a “hit”…lol.

Mrs. Wilson, being and staying organized allows me to be the laziest of them all, believe me!!!

  4. I practically hyperventilate when my issue arrives.

I’m not sure that I can pick a favorite part! I seriously read it cover to cover — more than once!

  5. i’m an elementary school teacher. i’ve been telling my friends FOR YEARS to PLEASE give their child’s teacher consumable gifts. PLEASE!! i do not need another apple that says world’s best teacher. i will smile and gush and tell your child i love it–but i would much rather have had something consumable.

  6. I love Organize Magazine. So much so that I convinced my local POC (Professional Organizers in Canada) chapter to get a subscription and keep it in our reference library for all the members to see.

Love your blog. Where you at the POC conference in Vancouver last week? If not, hope to see you there next year in Toronto.

  7. Seriously, I JUST read your previous postings and now realize that you were the woman that Beth spoke to at conference. She is the one that got me interested in your blog. It is great and I regret not knowing about you before but you have one more Professional Organizer fan!

  8. Consumable gifts are my favorite to receive (I don’t like “stuff”) so giving them is a great idea.

I haven’t run across this magazine, but I’ll sure be looking for it now!

  9. I told my husband about the magazine, and he insisted that I get a subscription. He knows how much I love organizing stuff. Thanks for the tip!

  10. I know I don’t need to tell you how much I love this magazine! I even took the time to write the editor! You should too! Spread the word… the more we talk about it the quicker we will be getting it each month instead of every other!
