Menu Plan Monday – July 9th
Updated: I’ve had to delete a few people and then add them again at the end of Mr. Linky because some of the links were too long causing Mr. Linky to push out into my sidebar. Please try to keep what you enter into Mr. Linky to no more than three words. Thanks so much!!
Hello everyone! Just for fun, I’ve resurrected and played with the old old banner (Marcia told me it was still her favorite). Use whichever one you enjoy the best. Last week I posted about how I menu plan. If you missed it and/or to see all three of the MPM banner options, please go here.
I’m so happy that so many of you are joining me here each week to share your menu and of course your recipes!! Two of my recipes this week come from other MPM participants and I’m excited to try them out.
Monday: Potluck at a friends….I’m making Strawberry-Orange Pasta Salad
Tuesday: Hubbie’s birthday! Amazing Pork Tenderloin in the Slow Cooker ~ a recipe I found at Karen’s last week.
Plus I’ll be making Chocolate-Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert!!
Wednesday: Sweet & Sour Pork Chops ~ which Carmen reminded me of
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Fresh Grilled Summer Pizza ~ I’ll be making the pesto version

you know that if you put a dessert on the menu, I see nothing else. I definitely have to make the cheesecake. If it were up to me, we’d have dessert for dinner. Excellent meal plan!! That pasta salad sound good also (with the cheesecake :)) Have a great week.
Your menu looks great. I’m going to check out the sweet and sour pork chops and the grilled pizza!
We’re trying some lighter dinner fare this week to beat the heat!

We’re trying some lighter dinner fare this week to beat the heat, and trying to cook as much as we can and cool as we can.
(pardon the double comment, blogger hiccupped and posted my comment before I was done!)

Hi Laura

Have you tried Sandra’s pizza yet? It is EASY, quick and delicious. I don’t think I’ll do another one in a hurry. It’s on her food blog, very nicely organised and easy to find in the sidebar.

Your menu looks delicious. I’d like to live at your house this week, lol. 🙂
Laura, I’m LOL here. You posted Sweet and Sour Pork from someone’s blog. I clicked it and she had it attributed to you. So I clicked that. It took me to your post on May 24th for Slow Cooking Thursday and it was from a Taste of Home magazine.
Just snickering. You amaze me at how many recipes you are always doing. Do your kids really eat them? My 8yo would but my almost 6 and 2 yo’s would not touch most of them.
From a lurker who really enjoys your blog.
Hey Laura, I think I’m making progress on the menu-planning. Thanks for the encouragement last week!
I’m a newbie – hi all! i’ve been silently admiring for a few weeks… hoping for the day that my menu plan, too, would be complete on Monday. And today is the day! i feel like i’ve reached a new level of domestic goddess-ness. thanks for the inspiration!
