Menu Plan Monday – March 26th

Hello my friends! I just realized I’m a bit later posting tonight but we just got back from our little road trip today and well I had some very important business to do before all else…three taped Regis and Kelly shows that I had just had to watch! How’s that for priorities…lol. So I got out of town for a couple of days which was awesome, nothing lifts the spirits like a little shopping especially getting to Costco and buying my favorite Santana jeans! Always a highlight….I’m a small town girl, doesn’t take much to impress me…he he.

Okay so on to the reason you are here and I’m so glad you are. Thank you to each one of you for participating each week. If you are new, welcome….don’t forget to let us know you are new by putting “new” or “1st time” in brackets after your name on Mr. Linky.

Here is my menu for the week. I’m pulling out the crock pot again. Unlike so many of you we aren’t experiencing spring yet which means it’s not grilling time quite yet for us. I’m so jealous of all you that are breaking out the grilling recipes already 🙁

Monday: Fajitas
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Pineapple Pork Roast
Wednesday: Foil Pack Creamy Chicken & Mushroom Dinner (soooo good!)
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Slow Cooked Chili

So what’s on your menu this week?

  1. Nix that last one! LOL That all sounds great, I must start saving some of these crockpot recipes to use…I love mine but don’t use it often.

  2. Hopefully you had a fabulous trip.

Your menu sounds great … and you are not along on the no grilling option. Living in the rainy Pacific Northwest makes it hard to BBQ.

  3. mmm, foil packet meals always look so tempting. Makes me think of camping, and throwing meat and potato and salt and pepper in a packet on the coals – somehow nothing tastes better than campfire food!

  4. Wow, I can’t believe how big this has gotten! I’m just getting back into the swing of menu planning after having a baby, and I think there’s triple the number of people participating 🙂

    Thanks again for starting this!

  5. Ditto to what Christy said. I’ve got to focus more on getting to other participants menu plans for fresh ideas too.

    Bon apetit,

Last week I decided that I must try one new recipe every week so this weekend I’ll bake some new muffins or something like that.

  8. I’m still dieting and Hubby will eat anything I put in front of him! My menu planner is for the children…

  13. Boy, I had to change my list about 20 times, and I’m not sure I won’t have to do it again!

Busy week here with meetings at the college about dual enrollment and everyday stuff like Civil Air Patrol, AWANA, homeschool Co-op, etc, etc…

May have to replace some of my meals with frozen lasagnas I made last week.

  14. What do you mean, it’s not warm enough to grill?! My husband and I even grill in the winter, in CT! haha. Sure CAN’T WAIT for spring weather though! Have a great week!
