I’m so surprised to learn that people in our blogging circle can be so negative. I haven’t experienced it yet, but I’m fairly new to blogging. The main reason that I started a blog is for the amazing, supportive network of wonderful ladies/people (but mostly ladies) who inspire. I guess the world and internet are big places and there are bound to be a few people who spread that negativity. Hopefully though with the recent posts by people like Sarah and Shannon, will cause people to take pause and really think before they chose to be negative and hateful. I hope you are having a very nice week with your family!
I actually posted about this issue too. I had to redo everything at my place in order to prevent myself from being found by not-so-nice people anymore. I’m glad to see you post about this! =)
Just want to say I appreciate your blog Laura, I read it everyday, even if I don’t comment. Sarah and Shannon have given me something to think about. I’ve been online for many years (about 15) and the standards the long timers use to communicate sarcasm, satire etc, may not be understood by those newer to the online space and therefore may be construed as rude or mean spirited. Perhaps I should brace the comment in 2 smiles like: *smile* comment *smile* as opposed to just ending it with “:)”
I agree with the rude anonymous postings, I just delete them. If I have to post anonymously, it’s because I’m having authentication problems I still sign my real name and in brackets my normal display name (which will look funny in a second) *smile*.

Thank you! I’m just glad that the whole debacle turned out into a show of support for sweet Trish and Ashley:)
