Menu Plan Monday ~ April 14th

Hi de ho neighbors! I’ve been getting some emails lately asking about recipe sites that allow you to enter in a list of ingredients you have on hand in order to get a list of corresponding recipes. I know of a few sites but I’m hoping you will also be able to help out by adding to my list. Please share in the comments any recipe sites that you know of that allow you to enter in various ingredients and I will continue to add to this list. Thanks bunches 🙂

  1. I don’t know of any websites that allow for that functionality, but it would be wonderful! I am very interested to see the sites posted, because I will definitely use them. Thanks!

  2. it all looks delicious but especially the Hash brown sausage bake…i think that will be a late addition to the meals.. 🙂 Thanks for hosting everyweek..have a great week..

  3. Thanks for the links to those sites. I’m a loyal allrecipes.com user, but it would be good to have a few other tricks up my sleeve when I just can’t find the right recipe!

  4. I use foodnetwork.com a lot. I just type in what I have on hand and it comes up with tons of stuff I can make.

  5. Next week I am definitely going to try one of those recipe building sites. What a great idea. I knew you could do it for mixed drinks, but I never even thought that you could be able to do it with food, too. Genius.

  6. I must bookmark those sites.
I haven’t needed it lately, but I’m in the process of emptying my freezer, and by the beginning of next week we’ll be nearly there and I’ll need to use things up.

  7. I love how you have a recipe for each meal that you make!

Do you make something new each night/week or do you have favorites that you go back to over and over again?

  8. Thank you for hosting this wonderful time saver. It saves tons on my grocery bill, time and stress. Have a wonderful week!

  11. You asked about sites that allow you to enter ingredients and get corresponding recipes. I don’t use a web site for this. I use a very inexpensive software program called EzyEating. That way, I have more control over the recipes I get, but then I’m kind of a control freak that way. Oh, once it finds the recipes, it gives me a menu plan and grocery list too. You can find it at http://www.ezyeating.com.
