Hi de ho neighbors! I’ve been getting some emails lately asking about recipe sites that allow you to enter in a list of ingredients you have on hand in order to get a list of corresponding recipes. I know of a few sites but I’m hoping you will also be able to help out by adding to my list. Please share in the comments any recipe sites that you know of that allow you to enter in various ingredients and I will continue to add to this list. Thanks bunches 🙂

Menu Plan Monday guidelines are here.
Laura, I like to use http://foodieview.com/ to search for recipes by ingredient.
Great menu, thanks for posting the links to those sites. We are having baked chicken this week too. It is my kid’s favorite.
I love to look at all the other menus! It gives me great ideas of what to plan for next week.
I don’t know of any websites that allow for that functionality, but it would be wonderful! I am very interested to see the sites posted, because I will definitely use them. Thanks!
Looks like a good week. Thanks for hosting!

What A Crock!
So is the spaghetti kid pleasing because they like spaghetti or something special about the sauce?
Your menu looks so delicious! I always get great meal ideas from your site! I might try pizza again. It’s always popular and easy to make.
Have a great week!

This is my first week and I’m so happy to have found this blog!
I look forward to visiting and reading everybody’s menu plans!
I’ve used http://www.bigoven.com for ingredient searches. 🙂
it all looks delicious but especially the Hash brown sausage bake…i think that will be a late addition to the meals.. 🙂 Thanks for hosting everyweek..have a great week..
Thanks for the links to those sites. I’m a loyal allrecipes.com user, but it would be good to have a few other tricks up my sleeve when I just can’t find the right recipe!
I use foodnetwork.com a lot. I just type in what I have on hand and it comes up with tons of stuff I can make.
I love the All Recipes Site, the Kraft Foods website (www.kraftfoods.com) and there Food and Family magazine that they mail for free every quarter!!! Go sign up for it! Then I also like http://www.cooks.com.
Thanks again for MPM!
Next week I am definitely going to try one of those recipe building sites. What a great idea. I knew you could do it for mixed drinks, but I never even thought that you could be able to do it with food, too. Genius.
We are going to give this a try. I need some order in this chaos and I hope this helps…
Thanks for those sites that allow you to plug in your ingredients and out pops a recipe. We have NO excuse now, do we? It goes well with my post on menu planning basics for the hopelessly confused. http://organizedeveryday.blogspot.com/2008/04/getting-started-with-menu-planning-for.html
Sorry for the large link.
I make a similar dish as the kids spaghetti and find it is always a winner. Enjoy your week.
I finally did one this week!!!
I’m enjoying finding new menu ideas every Menu Plan Monday.
I like to use the recipe finder at Family Fun magazine, as most things are kid-tested and that helps me out! You can find it at http://familyfun.go.com/recipes/family/tool/RecipeFinder/
They also have a month of menus, so if you are ever stuck in a rut that can help too. Have a great week!
I must bookmark those sites.
I haven’t needed it lately, but I’m in the process of emptying my freezer, and by the beginning of next week we’ll be nearly there and I’ll need to use things up.
That sausage bake looks good…please let us know how it turns out for you.
Thanks for hosting this! I have to have an easy week this week because we’re taking off for a few days and I have to eat all the veggies in my freezer without adding more stuff.
But I love challenges!
Visit To Love, Honor and Vacuum today!
I love how you have a recipe for each meal that you make!
Do you make something new each night/week or do you have favorites that you go back to over and over again?

Need to try some of these menus m m good
You asked about sites that allow you to enter ingredients and get corresponding recipes. I don’t use a web site for this. I use a very inexpensive software program called EzyEating. That way, I have more control over the recipes I get, but then I’m kind of a control freak that way. Oh, once it finds the recipes, it gives me a menu plan and grocery list too. You can find it at http://www.ezyeating.com.
My hubby put the Hashbrown Sausage Bake in the top 10 favorites!!
Have a great week!
