Happy Friday! Today I’m excited to bring you a 30 day declutter challenge. Sometimes it helps to have a guide to follow especially when feeling overwhelmed with all there is to do. Overwhelm leads to stress and lack of motivation and this cycle can be devastating for your home in the long run. Unfortunately, neglected clutter just continues to grow and grow and grow. Clutter continues to attract more clutter leading to more and more overwhelm. It’s time to stop this clutter cycle and a declutter challenge is a great way to do that! Each day for 30 days you follow the free printable declutter calendar (in any order!) and tackle a different area of your home.
Clutter does not have to win here. It’s never too late to take back control. We can conquer clutter instead of letting it conquer us and our homes and our families. Here’s what you need to remember. It’s just stuff. I know to some that might seem harsh and I’m sorry. But living through this pandemic and having to spend even more time at home than I might normally has only solidified just how important having a peaceful organized home is (and how little we actually need!). And one cannot have a peaceful organized home when it’s buried in clutter. Nope. The two things cannot exist together.
When the world around us is in chaos, our home should be a place of comfort. A sanctuary that helps us find the calm away from all the outside noise. Yet this absolutely cannot happen when clutter is everywhere we look. When we are staring at all our piles of stuff, our minds simply cannot rest.
The benefits of owning less far outweigh the burdens that come with owning more.
All this stuff we own and cling to for “someday” becomes the stuff that keeps us from living the kind of peaceful organized life we could be living TODAY.
Clutter can be anything that reduces your effectiveness for leading a peaceful, less chaotic life.

I am working on this. Slowly. Way too much to go thru at the moment with items in room that we moved from another room that needed fixed. Long story short, it’s gonna happen soon. Am already going thru things and recycling and tossing and donating items soon. I appreciate your inspiration! Hope you and your family are doing well and stay safe! Hugs!
