Hi everyone, happy menu plan day! First I have to start by saying Happy Thanksgiving Canadians!! I hope you all enjoy your extended weekend relaxing with loved ones and eating delicious food. We did that yesterday. My husband made us the most delicious chicken dinner. We get these beautiful large chickens from a local farm and they are so good. We have lots of leftovers for today along with homemade chicken soup that we made from the bones. Yum, yum.
I also made the Paleo Pumpkin Pie Squares you see in the picture above. I had to double the crust recipe because it didn’t seem like enough for the required pan and the pumpkin part didn’t seem to set as much as I would have liked. Other than that they tasted pretty good :)
The big news around these parts though is all our SNOW! Yes snow. I wasn’t lying when I said we usually get snow in October. The next seven months are going to be very looooong ones.

Saturday: Homemade Burgers in the Oven served with spinach smoothies
