Emergency Preparedness Giveaway (closed)

One of my most popular posts on this blog was all about How to Prepare an Emergency Preparedness Kit.  There is obviously a lot of interest in how to do this and for good reason.  So I’m excited to tell you about today’s resource that has been designed to help you and your family be ready in case of emergency.

My good friend, Toni from A Bowl Full of Lemons is leading an 8 week step by step program to create an emergency survival station for your family on her blog.  Regardless of where you live and what your emergency possibilities may be, Toni’s program is a must!

Toni has also created an e-book that combines perfectly with her program to give anyone what they need in an emergency situation.  The book contains printable lists and guides as well as necessary information for emergency preparedness and planning.  All from Toni’s perspective – Toni lived through a horrific experience during Hurricane Floyd and is also a medical professional.  Need to be more prepared?  Check out Toni’s e-book – you’ll be glad you did!

The e-book contains:

Checklist for setting up your storage area
Food & Water Storage Guide
72 Hour Kit Checklist
First Aid Kit Inventory
First Aid Kit Printable
Important Documents & Cash Stash
“Grab” in case of emergency list
List of personal documents to place in Emergency

Here’s what Toni has to say….

Getting your “life organized” can include an array of things, but emergency planning is one that is often forgotten. To become fully organized, you must have a “plan” in case of an emergency. Those who do, will feel more in control if a true emergency should arise. In my “Emergency Preparedness” E-Book, I share how to put together an emergency survival station for you and your family. An “emergency survival station” is described as an area in your home where you store emergency supplies that are needed in case of an emergency, natural disaster, etc. In the event that you are part of an emergency of any kind, you can be well prepared to deal with it. I also show you how to put together a function First Aid Kit, 72 Hour Kit, Pet kit, Comfort Kit, Emergency Binder, and Emergency Supplies. Included in the E-Book are many printables for your Emergency Binder along with checklists to complete your survival station. I also created a blog challenge to go along with my E-Book. If you want to create an Emergency Survival Station in your home and follow along with my 8 week program, visit my blog here to learn more. It’s never too late to get your family prepared!

This is an invaluable tool! My father was always very big into have a plan of action organized and until I read this post, I was really behind in having anything prepared! We are in Germany (military) and I feel like we should really have a plan here for us and our two boys. I am going to start planning a sit down with them so we can work on a family emergency plan of action! Thanks for such an inspiring post!

I know a lot of people use Facebook and Pinterest, but not everyone does. I didn’t see any options for to get entries unless you use one of those. Do we at least get an entry for commenting? Thanks.

Thanks for the post! I’m too late for the give away but had to thank you. I never thought of emergency preparedness as part of being organized, but it really is. I need to get a spot organized so I can put everything together.
