Off The Floor Organizers Review + Giveaway! (closed)

If there is one thing I look for in an organizing product it is versatility.  I always like to ask myself “can this product be used in multiple ways for multiple functions?”.  Why is this important to me?  It’s important because a product that can be used in multiple ways is a product that will grow with you.  It’s a product that will be around for the long haul and won’t end up in the donate bin.  It’s a huge money saver in the long run.

Today’s product fits this requirement most definitely.  These Off-the-Floor Organizers are a wonderful invention by two moms looking to get a handle on some of the clutter all over the floor.  The idea formed to take advantage of vertical wall space that often gets neglected.  With much thought and care in designing a versatile, user-friendly custom storage system for everyone lacking space and seeking efficient organization, Off-the-Floor EZ Store and its product lines, Rack-It!, Glam-It! and Dorm-It! were invented.

I took the Off-the-Floor Rack-It for a test drive.  I had so many spots in my house where I thought this organizer could be put to great use but in the end decided to use it in my garage as I had blank wall space just crying out to be used right beside the door into the house.  For that reason I decided to go with the wall-mount option to suit my needs however if you think you would rather use the Rack-It behind a door, then you must ensure to select the door-mount option when ordering.

The hooks that come with the unit are adjustable which I think is a great feature because it allows you to store wider items if necessary.  Or if using the unit behind a door you might not want them to stick out as far.  Really nice touch.

I decided to use the hooks to house our beach bags as well as a few other odds and sods, like umbrellas and our kite.

The three bins that come with it are also handy and can be mounted into any of the holes.  Two are smaller and open and the larger one offers closed storage with three divided sections.  As you can see below I’m using it to house our recycling bags since this sits right in front of our recycling center.

Let me show you some other examples of these organizers in action.

Besides having amazing versatility, these organizers are just plain fun.  They come in TEN color options suitable for any room or space.  I love that!

Cautionary tip:  the clips that hold the Rack-It together are tough to take off once snapped in place.  We found this when we decided to take two panels off and only use six instead of the eight in the spot I had designated.  It helps to find yourself a little tool to use.  We grabbed one of my son’s small plastic swords and were able to use the pointy tip to work it, saving my fingers.

Giveaway:

Today’s giveaway is for either ONE Rack-It! Organizer or ONE Dorm-It! Organizer.  The winner will get to choose which one they prefer.  The winner will also get to select their preferred color and whether they want the door-mount or wall-mount option.

To enter please use the Rafflecopter entry form below.  You have three separate options for entering so you can enter with one or all three. If you don’t see the giveaway box below please click on this link to enter.  Winner will be selected at random from entries left.  Unfortunately this giveaway is only open to US residents.  Sorry!

  1. How could I use it? About 10 different ways! But I think I’d go for organizing video game accessories and mount it on the closet door in our living room.

Thanks for the giveaways and the great posts!

  2. My daughter is going off to college next year, and she could really use one of those. Wow! What a great idea!

I think I would have to use it in the bedroom… I would like to be able to see my scarves and purses instead of digging in the bins and through the piles that always end up at the bottom of the closet! For days I’ve been trying to solve this dilemma, but haven’t liked any of the solutions that I’ve tried with what I have on hand.
