MyMemories Software Giveaway + free calendar printable! (closed)

This giveaway is now closed. The winner is #51 Brandy!

So I got my craft on this past weekend. Say what?  As you know I’m so not crafty, in fact I use to be a scrapbooker person just so I could organize all the supplies. So not kidding.  Anyway once I realized that all those supplies took up way more space than the time I ever spent with them I needed to rethink things and said bye bye to most of those supplies.

So when the makers of the MyMemories Scrapbook software asked me to review their product, I was like um no thank you.  Well actually I wasn’t even that polite, I may or may not have just deleted the email “by accident”.  Then one night I was blog surfing and stumbled across one site where the blog master was offering up a pretty free printable to her readers.  She’d made this printable using, you guessed it, the MyMemories software.  Well who knew you could do that?  Anybody that knows me knows I have a HUGE fascination with printables.  Love them!

Lucky for me, the owners of MyMemories emailed me again and I decided I would be brave enough to try it despite the fact that technology likes to mock me consistently and stick it’s tongue out at me for being so stupid for not understanding how it works.  This totally happens to me….time and time again.

So after downloading the software to my computer I started playing around.  I never read manuals or instructions, which could so be why I never understand what I’m doing but whatever.  Anyway after a few hiccups that might have involved a few grunts and groans, I did indeed figured it out and made a very awesome printable (if I do say so myself!) for anyone planning on participating in Org Junkie’s 29 Day Organizational Challenge starting tomorrow.  Check out this calendar I created, hola!

Download Feb Calendar here

So here is what I know.  Playing around creating this calendar was fun.  I really enjoyed myself and am pretty happy with the result.  The software itself only comes with basic backgrounds and embellishments but you have MANY options to purchase various kits and templates on their website.  In other words it could get as addictive and expensive as traditional scrapbooking (however no clutter which makes me very happy!).  Just something to keep in mind.  The embellishments I used to create my calendar I did purchase separately.  Will I make more printables?  Yes I definitely will!

If you are interested in checking out the MyMemories Digital Scrapbooking software for yourself, the company has given me a special code that will give you a $10 discount off the purchase of the MyMemories Suite software plus you also get a $10.00 coupon to use at the store – a $20.00 value!  The code is STMMMS32191 (copy and paste it to make it easier)

I also have a copy of the software to giveaway as well.  If you would like the chance to win the MyMemories Suite software simply leave a comment on this post, prior to Monday, February 6th at 6:00 pm PST, telling me whether or not you’ve ever ventured into digital scrapbooking before.

This is so funny because leaning how to do digital scrapbooking is on my 2012 To Do list! I used to be a dedicated scrapbooker…. and then I became a blogger, and time for scrapbooking has gone out the window. So I’ve been thinking…. since I seem to run the rest of my life on a computer- why not try digital scrapbooking and see if it is a faster / better way to manage scrapbooking for 6 kids?
So I would LOVE to win!

If I won this I could donate my huge stash of scrapbooking supplies that mocks me every time I walk by and adds to my guilt for not scrapbooking my kids’ childhood! :-) Please pick me!!

I have done photobooks on the various sites, and been frustrated that I could not make my pages like *I* wanted to do, so I’m pretty sure I’d love digital scrapbooking, but I have not done it — yet. I would love to win this, though!
How long is the discount code good for? (In other words, will it still work after the giveaway closes, if I don’t win?)

I have never went the scrapbook route! I have bought scrapbooks…I have bought paper…I take the pictures…..I just have never made a scrapbook page! LOL

The idea that it is digital sounds great!

I did however make my husband a 52 reasons I love you book for Christmas! (found on Pinterest) With my items purchased for scrapbooking! LOL

Thanks for all your great ideas.

I have not taken the leap into digital scrapbooking. I am like you – I swear the two computers in our house get together at night, after I go to bed, and laugh at the feeble attempts that I have made during the day to conquer their domains. Plus, I think they gang up on me just to make sure I never get “it” right! LOL! However, I am stubborn and will NOT give up. So, I am all for jumping into the digital scrapbook game – especially since my VERY FIRST GRANDBABY will be born this June – I really think I NEED to win this! Don’t you agree????

Oh my gosh! That looks like an incredible program! I’ve not done much scrapbooking much less digital scrapbooking (unless you count yearbook in high school). But I love the idea of not having tons of random craft-its lying about my den (which is the room I chose for the 29 Day Challenge) That might actually make it possible for me to clear out a TON of things I thought I’d use during that elusive “someday-when-I-have-more-time”. :D Whoever wins will be a happy camper for sure! Good luck to all and congrats to whoever wins it!

I love looking at what wonderful information you provide!

This sounds wonderful, with two children 18 month apart it is difficult to lay everything out and get started. Of course, it doesn’t help I am a perfectionist…thus a sheet never gets done. Ok- I correct myself, 4 sheets have been done in about 3 years, paaathetic.

I will take a look at this website. It would be a perfect program if it allows book printing for our families 2,000 miles away.

Thank you so much for all that you offer my sanity!

I’ve never tried digital scrapbooking but have dabbled in regular old-style scrapbooking. 46. 46

Well, this sounds like fun! I’m always looking into creating my own printables but they never quite work they way I want to. I am NOT a crafty person…no scrapbooking for me. My daughter loves doing it though. She has one scrapbook software that is nice but very limiting. I’ve tried doing stuff with it but it doesn’t print…it’s only for online viewing, so I stopped playing with it. Count me in!
