Product Highlight ~ The Corky Wall Organizer + giveaway

A month ago I was flipping through my issue of Real Simple magazine, The Family Issue, and came across a great picture of a beautifully organized closet.  It was so lovely and colorful.

Anyway what really stood out to me though was the two organizers hanging on the closet door.  I’d never seen those before and I was intrigued.  I immediately looked up where to find them, got on the internet and tracked them down.  They are from a Company called KangaRoom Storage and the organizers are called Corky Wall Organizers. Don’t they look fun!  I love finding new organizing sites, it makes me all tingly inside.

They retail for $29.99 and come in three different colors.  They also have one that is even bigger than this one.  I know for a fact that my daughter would love one of these to hold all her odds and sodds.  So many uses!

Also, with it being craft/sewing room month here on the blog I thought this other product I came across might appeal to all you knitters out there.  I thought it looked very fancy dancy and would make all your knitting dreams come true 🙂  It’s called the Knitter’s Notebook and it holds all different sized needles, including the impossible round ones!  (listen I don’t really know a round needle from a square one, that’s just what the website told me okay)  It also has room for your scissors and a zippered pouch for other small trinkets.  The 3-ring binder system lets you hole punch your patterns and keep them neatly in the binding system.

I can’t figure it out but all of a sudden I have a terrible urge to take up knitting….hmmm.

So my friends I have spoken with the really nice powers that be over at KangaRoom Storage and they have offered to giveaway one of their Corky Wall Organizers to one lucky commenter.  So please leave a comment below before next Tuesday, Oct 21st at 12:00 pm PST.

Don’t forget to check out their site to see all their other wonderful organizing products.  You won’t be sorry you did!

I call these product highlights and not reviews because I haven’t actually tried these products out, they are just things that make me say “well now that’s a great idea!”.

  39. This is soooo cool!!!! I love any idea that can utilize unused space – like a closet door! I really love all the organizing ideas on your site and appreciate the encouragement it’s given me to finish the decluttering I’d started. Crazy, but although I love organizing I’d never really realized the importance of containers. Now I’m going to have to join your organized junkie club =-
    ). Thanks!

  46. OMG!!!!!! Love love love!!!!!! I want one for each of my kids (4) and maybe even one for the bathroom??? Would they work on the back of the bathroom door?

TFS, these are great. I hope I win!

  47. I’m always hunting for ideas – especially to keep my very talented but never organized 13 year old daughter contained. She took up knitting 3 years ago and has knitting supplies all over not only her room, but our whole house! Not to mention 2 friends and 2 grandparents homes. We can’t afford any stuff – dh with no job for over 6 months – but I’ll definatly go over there and use the Amazon Universal Wish Button to add a few things to my 3 kids wish lists! … I actually have little hope of winning. My best friend has won prizes at library functions every single time she goes – and usually multiple items. We’ve won 2 things (both useless clutter for us) in the 8 years we’ve attended. Nope – Prizes seem to avoid us. But I still think these are very cool products.

  48. I’ve been thinking of all the fun I could have with that organizer. It would be awesome in the kitchen, or right by the front door, or in the office, or my little girl’s room, even the bathroom. OK, I need 12 of them! (or more)

  49. I love your site Laura – you rock! Congratulations on your success and good luck at the TO Conference – you’ll be great! These hanging organizers look great and I can think of a few ideas of how I would put one to use around here!!@

  63. As I was walking around my house I realized how unorganized I really am. My pantry is a mess, my closets are just scary and there is just stuff every where. Completely overwhelmed I decided to get on the internet rather then tackle a project while the kids are sleeping. I happened to find your website from Tip Junkie and I am completely inspired. Hopefully your inspirations will stick! I will be back often to check out your tips. Love your website and would love one of these organizers to get started!! Thanks

  64. I’m so impressed by everyone who suggests using this for their kids. In my home, *I* am the one in need of a stable place for my keys, iPod, cell, etc.! But I’m moving one step closer to organized living every day. I would LOOOOVE one of these!

  71. Please, God, help me become better organized. The piles are no longer distinguishable. They have aggregated into a range of STUFF.

  72. Love it! I am a professional closet organizer – so this little gadget may end up in one of my customers closets!

    Love it!

  73. Oh, I love it! After living in an office space for a year (literally) we’re about to move to a little rent house and this wall organizer would be perfect on the bedroom closet door!

  74. That looks really cool & possibly something the kids would actually USE. Anything to clean up rooms & organize easier!
