Menu Plan Monday – August 27th

After 15 hours of travel we finally made it home today about a half hour ago from our month long holiday….it feels like I’ve been gone forever! Last week I almost cancelled Menu Plan Monday for this week knowing we would be travelling all day and I’d be pretty pooped but then I realized that my family still needs to eat this week so I’d better get back into my routine pretty quick 🙂 So while wasting 5 hours in the airport today between connections I planned my menu on the back of an envelope I found in my purse.

Welcome to all the new participants that have joined us over the last month. I apologize for not getting around to personally welcoming each and every one of you. I’m happy you are here…I’m happy you are all here! Those of you that have sent emails please know that I’ll get to them soon!

So this week we’re having:

Monday: Fajitas (I missed these so much!)
Tuesday: Thai Chicken Fettucini
Wednesday: Slow Cooked Pork Loin (Light & Tasty Sept 2007 Pg 59)
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Dilled Stroganoff (Light & Tasty Sept 2007 Pg 49)

Have a great week everyone!

  14. When I travel for a long time, I miss some of my own favorite recipes, too. Funny, huh? You’d think that I would like to sit back and eat whatever people prepare. I think I’m just a little bit of a control freak (but unfortunately NOT a neat freak!).

  15. Welcome Back! Loved all your projects and tackles while you were at your brother’s. It was quite inspiring.

I’m back…I took a few weeks off due to the fact that I had my baby 4 weeks early!

This is the first week of planning since she has been born. She will be 3 weeks tomorrow!

    Blessings!

  21. Thanks again for hosting. I’ve been a traveling fool this month, too! Lots of in the car planning! But not lot’s of computer blogging time.

I love trips with the family, but getting back to routine is nice in it’s own way also. I hope you have a relaxing week. Your menu sounds delicious!

  22. I have been doing menu planning off and on for a few years, and after a few months off, I’m back to trying to do menu plans. I had remembered seeing “Menu Plan Monday” on someone’s blog awhile back, and decided I might as well join in since I’m doing menu planning anyway! lol So, here I am. I’m new to MPM, and posted one, even though Monday is almost over now!

  23. YAY you’re home mom made the thai pasta dish tonight and it was AMAZING so good. Talk to you soon I’m sure.
