So here is my menu plan for the week:
Monday: Tortellini Salad (recipe below) – delicious!
Tuesday: Hawaiian Chicken Bake
Wednesday: Ground Beef Shepherd’s Pie
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Garden Fresh Pasta Salad and BBQ steak

Garden Fresh Pasta Salad and Tortellini Salad – yum! I love me a good salad.

Sounds great! We are having shepherd’s pie as well.

Hi Laura,
Glad you had a nice day and get to sleep in tomorrow – Awesome!
I’d like to try the Tortellini Salad – it sounds delicious – and so summery.
Our menu this week is as simple as I could make it. I am feeling really tired! We are using paper plates and all meals should be made in 30 minutes or less (I hope).
Have a great week.
Stacy
I really need to try the Hawaiian Chicken Bake…sounds yummo!
another great week at the table 🙂 Have a great one.
There’s a tomato turning red in my garden – summer’s on its way here too!
peace of Christ to you,
Jessica

And in other news, I’m LOVING the cold weather here in Jhb. Today’s headline “Big freeze in Jhb”. Lovely!
YUM!! Everything looks so good. Here I thought I would be one of the first today since its 6am here! But I guess #26 isn’t bad either! Have a great week, I know we will, hubby comes home this week! YIPPEEEEE!
YUMMY you are making me want to be creative..well almost
The Hawaiian Chicken Bake sounds sooo good. I will be adding it to my recipe file.
Beware, there are those pie purists out there who will accuse you of having a “cottage pie” rather than a “shepherd’s pie.” Personally, I’m happy as long as there is meat smothered in potatoey goodness.
Thanks for hosting Menu Plan Monday. This week, I’m beginning to post tips for batch cooking and freezing, as I prepare for baby #3.
Your menu looks great! I am going to have to try the Hawaiian chicken bake.
Have a great week!
I enjoyed creating my menu this week! I hope it goes as planned. For once.
That tortellini salad sounds wonderful!
The tortellini salad sounds really good, especially with this warmer weather.
Have a great Monday.

Love your site- Thanks so much for hosting the Menu Monday. I have gotten so many great recipes and ideas for the other ladies here. This is my first time posting my menu- it is a simple week ( we are going to be SOOO busy this week).
Blessings, Dolly
Sounds wonderful Laura 🙂
No matter how early I try to get here in the morning, there’s already 50 people ahead LOL Does everyone sleep here on sunday nights??? LOL
Have a great day,
?Sandra?
I *love* your website…finally figured out how to add feeds.
Happy Victoria Day!
Tortellini salad is so versatile! I do a really easy one (no dressing!) where I add chopped sundried tomatoes (packed in oil) and chopped roasted red peppers (or yellow) to the tortellini. Some sliced black olives and a bit of grated romano cheese and you have a salad!
Thanks so much for help us out and supporting us with baby steps and without judgement. Your menu sounds fabulous and I look forward to participating more and more! Keep up the GREAT work!
Hi Laura!
My menu is up!
Have a great week!
God bless,
Mrs.T
