Hello all! Welcome to another edition of Menu Plan Monday! I don’t think I’m going to be able to top my menu from last week. The Hawaiian Chicken Bake recipe that I got from My So Called Perfect Life was delicious (the chicken was so moist!) and it will definitely be a regular around our home! I’m also highly recommending the Pizza Pancake recipe. The kids loved them (especially the baby) and I loved that it was something different. I get so bored of eating the same types of food all the time. The only thing I might change next time is to convert the recipe to my own flour blend, including some whole wheat flour, rather than the Bisquik mix.
Another thing I wanted to mention is that fellow blogger, The Pumkin Patch, will be hosting Tasty Thursdays each week which will be a “tried and true” recipe exchange. Check it out!
My hubbie and I celebrated our 12th year anniversary this past weekend! We enjoyed a great dinner and a movie out on Saturday night….it was so nice to go on a date just the two of us!
Happy Birthday to my little bro today!!!
My menu for this week is:
Monday: Mexican Style Ravioli (Simple & Delicious Feb 07 Pg 6)
Tuesday: Rosemary Cashew Chicken served with perogies and broccoli
Wednesday: San Francisco Pork Chops served over rice and with carrots (thanks Susanne!)
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Corny Chili served with garlic toast

The word perogies always reminds me of a specific spring break visit to my best friend’s college. She lived in an apartment with four other roommates (I was a dorm dork) and buying her own perogies was like her favorite treat in the world. I’d never heard of them before then and I thought it was the weirdest/funniest thing I’d ever heard of. Now I think of her everytime I see that word!

I know I am going to be needing to GFCF a bunch of different menus that have been posted. I am loving all the great ideas everyone has. And Rosemary Cashew Chicken is going to have to be a “must try.” It has 3 of my favorite ingredients (well, behind garlic and chocolate -no, not together!)

Happy anniversary to you and your husband!
I was born in Hawaii, lived there for 12 years, my grandparents and aunts and uncles are still there, and we visit often. Anyway, I love Hawaiian “style” food and the Hawaiian chicken bake sounds really good.
Thanks for hosting this and sharing your found recipes. It’s really encouraging!!!
