Menu Plan Monday – March 19th

***PLEASE SEE THIS POST ABOUT THE UPCOMING 30 DAY ORGANIZATIONAL CHALLENGE***

Well it’s spring break this week and we are off on a little trip so this momma only has to cook two days this week…woohoo!!! Really you have no idea how happy that makes me 🙂

Thank you to everyone who helped me by offering suggestions regarding all my menu plans. Once my pretty little memo pad is used up I’ll be switching to using a white board instead. I am also going to work on getting a list of all our favorite family recipes listed together (just title and recipe location) under meat categories on a spreadsheet and this list I will keep in front of my tried and true recipe binder for quick access at a glance. Hopefully this will make it easier and faster to plan my menus each week.

My two day menu:

Monday: Zucchini Sausage Pasta
Tuesday: Pizza

I wish everyone a wonderful and stress free week!

If you are new to Menu Plan Monday, welcome, please feel free to jump right on in. We’d love to have you join us!!!

  4. Hope you have a wonderful trip for Spring Break. I’m a bit envious, but I really hope you have a good time! My daughter ended up having strep so we didn’t get to do anything fun at all last week. Anyway, enjoy your break. Thanks for hosting and I’m thinking about joining your challenge. I need to! Can’t wait to hear about the trip!!!

  5. Have fun on your vacation! If you eat anything good, I hope that you’re able to recreate it.

  7. Hi Laura,

Even though it’s not spring down here I’d like to do the organizational challenge too! The past couple of days I’ve been doing some serious planning for a household round-up, so the challenge is really timely!

Hope you have nice little spring break too. Only two meals to cook this week! Wheeee! Lucky you!

  14. Okay, Laura. I started out the day determined to re-organize myself and my time this week….now I find out YOU are taking a little vacation. You just can’t!—I need you to keep me focused. Please explain to your family that I’m very sorry, but you’ll need to stay close to a computer and keep me motivated to organize this week.

Seriously, you guys have a fantastic time! I’m going to do a little post on my home management binder so you can see what it looks like and how I use it.

    Have a fantastic vacation!

  15. My dh and I made a “bet” on something the other day, and if he won, he wanted me to make a Boston Cream Pie. I said I wanted a week without cooking. “No, really, what do you want?”

I was totally serious. Enjoy your days without cooking!!!!!!!!!

  16. Lucky you! Have a great week.
