Happy Friday friends! My husband and I are celebrating 22 years of marriage this weekend which is pretty exciting. No big plans of getting out of our small town though because we’ve got a snowfall warning in place but I’m sure we’ll figure something out here. How about you, any celebrations happening for your weekend?
I am so ready for winter to be over but since it isn’t I’ve been buying myself some flowers lately to brighten my day. Yellow seems to be a favorite of mine right now. Bring on the sunshine! It’s amazing how great a $4 pack of tulips can make you feel!
And keeping with the yellow theme, another favorite of mine this month is this cute little leather card holder.
How adorable is this with it’s lovely scalloped edges and pretty spring color? It holds up to 26 store cards (or credit cards/gift cards/business cards) and it wasn’t even that expensive, sweet! Purchased on Amazon HERE (affiliate link).
What are your favorites that you’ve been enjoying this week?
I’ve found some really great links to share with you this week. I hope you like these favorites too!
I just grabbed this fun free wallpaper for my desktop and phone from the talented Clementine Creative. Love it!
This post from Sheila over at To Love, Honor & Vacuum makes a really good point that you might not have considered:
“But if we spend all of our leisure time on things that ultimately don’t satisfy, we’ll feel as if we’re gulping for air. We’ll feel like something’s missing. And that makes us feel busy, because we’re obviously not getting done what needs to get done. But what’s our reaction to feeling busy? We need to veg more. And it becomes a vicious cycle.”

And finally this post got a lot of feedback when I shared it to my Facebook page recently. It’s titled Sorry, Nobody Wants Your Parents Stuff and it struck a nerve in some cases. So many people go through life saving things but have they ever asked who they’re saving these things for if they actually want them? Hmmm. Let me know your thoughts!
Have a great weekend everyone and don’t forget to make some time for organizing!!!
