Menu Plan Monday ~ Sept 29/14

Menu Plan Monday for the week of Sept 29/14

Hey folks!  Let’s get organized for the week shall we?  All you have to do is select 5 quick and easy meals to make during the week, shop for the necessary ingredients and you’re ready to go.  No reason to complicate menu planning any more than you have to.  Keep it simple and get in and out of the kitchen fast!

You all know I’m not a huge fan of pumpkin but last week contributor Melanie shared a pumpkin recipe that sounds so different, I might just have to give it a try.  It’s called Upside Down Pumpkin Pie.  Let me know if you make it and what you think of it.

Recipe Highlight:

If you haven’t tried the No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars you really must.  They were absolutely delicious.  Sorry I forgot to take a picture but I am highly recommending them. I used gluten-free graham cracker crumbs and oh my I could have ate the entire platter of them up (thankfully I didn’t though!).

That Cheddar Potato Soup sounds really good, but we’ve still got 90-100 degree weather here and I can’t possibly make soup. Your menu makes me wish it felt like fall here in Southern California :)

Thank you as always for hosting!

Ooh, I love pumpkin, but that pie recipe looks like something else. I need an excuse to make it now…

    Hi Laura —
That pumpkin cake looks delicious — and your son’s birthday dinner sounds terrific, too! I’m sure my family would like those together.
    Thanks for hosting!

I’m new to the party. I just started posting weekly slow cooker meal plans for Crocktober and a friend suggested I link up to your party. I am also pretty addicted to organizing and I love your blog! I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it before. Excuse me while I browse your archives for the next few hours….

I must say that I am impressed your son requested something specific, mostly my children shrug their shoulders! Happy Birthday to him!

My kids are so funny, all of them are so specific and soooo different in their likes too. My youngest has a birthday in November and he is already weighing his choices lol.
