Menu Plan Monday ~ Nov 15th + giveaway
Updated to add: This giveaway is now closed. The winners are #36 and #58!
Hey girlfriends! Happy new week to you. I’m guessing a lot of you are busy planning for the US Thanksgiving next week. I know what a crazy time this can be and I wondered how I could help alleviate some of that stress for you.
That’s when I got an email from Tricia over at Once a Month Mom telling me about her new fabulous holiday cooking ebook. The entire holiday meal that is included in this ebook can be made in advance. Do you know what that means? Less stress and more time for your guests on the actual day. That is my kind of cooking! Tricia lists out the steps to put together the entire menu in one shot all in advance. Or if you want you can spread it out over a couple of nights depending on the time you have available. All the recipes can be frozen until needed. Hola!
This eCookbook is a step-by-step resource for cooking Thanksgiving and/or Christmas dinner ahead and freezing it. It contains grocery lists, instructions, recipe cards and freezer labels. Since it is a holiday menu, there are resources for those serving a family of 8 and those serving a family of 16. Here are the recipes that are contained in this eCookbook:
* Veggie Pizza
* Pumpkin Cheeseball
* Scalloped Corn
* Freezer Mashed Potatoes
* Twice Baked Sweet Potatoes
* Slow Cooker Stuffing
* Make Ahead Butterhorn Rolls
* Turkey Baste
* Cranberry Mustard Ham Glaze
* Pumpkin Pie
* Caramel Apple Pie Trifle
It sells for $9.99 however for one week only you can purchase this awesome holiday helper for $5.99 (40% off!!) using code ORGJUNKIE at checkout. A great deal for the amount of sanity you will save!
Giveaway:
Tricia also has TWO copies of her book to giveaway here today. Whoot! Simply leave a comment on this post, prior to Wednesday, November 17th at 4:00 pm PST, telling me you’d love some holiday cooking help. I’m closing it earlier than I normally do on giveaways so that the winners will have ample time to start their holiday cooking! 🙂 Open to everyone and winners will be selected by random.org.
Last week I tried a new chicken recipe called Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken and it was really delicious and super easy too! It took a couple of minutes to prepare and then it gets thrown in the oven for 30 minutes. My kind of recipe!

P.S. I’m not sure why my little picture didn’t show up in my menu link, but I think it still works…probably an error from my end. Sorry! *sigh*
Oh no! It was my error! I copied another one of my posts instead by accident. Do you know how I can fix it? The real link should be: http://momsmanyprojects.wordpress.com/2010/11/14/meal-plan-week-of-november-14th/
So sorry!
I was able to change your link for you no problem. However the only way to include a picture (if you want) is to re-add your link. Sorry about that. Laura
Thank you so much! No need for you to be sorry…it was completely my mistake…I don’t want to take up more space by adding it again so I’ll go without the pic this week. Thanks again, Laura!
