Happy New Year my friends! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to begin a new year. I’m so ready, how about you? I also can’t wait to get back to some healthier eating that is for sure with none of that sweet stuff that magically appears during the holidays :)
So I’ve got a few things I wanted to tell you this week (such a surprise I know!). A whole group of ladies are cutting back on their grocery budget this month and using up what they have in the house by participating in the Eat From The Pantry Challenge. Look what I got in the mail last week. A copy of The $5 Dinner Mom Cookbook!
This week I’ll be trying out a couple of Erin’s recipes in my menu plan and later in the week I’ll be hosting a giveaway for TWO of these cookbooks over at my review site.
My recipe highlight of last week goes to the Baked Spaghetti recipe hands down. I’ve tried many variations of baked spaghetti and I think this one might be my new favorite! It sure makes a lot though, we were eating leftovers for days. Would make a great dish for company. What was your highlight?
