Moving on to organizing our laundry rooms

in Monthly Round-up

Thanks so all you lovely ladies who participated in last month’s round-up, I’m so proud of all of you!  I’m happy to announce that the winner of the annual membership to List Plan It is Lyndsi of Organize My Life!  Way to go Lyndsi!

November is the month we move on to our laundry rooms to see what we can do to get them functioning a little bit more effectively for us.  Are you ready?

How about a little incentive?  I have an AMAZING prize lined up for November/December that I’m so absolutely thrilled about that I’m busting at the seams to share it with you.

The team over at Simplify 101 have kindly offered to giveaway to one lucky participant, free membership to their Organizing 101 online workshop!   This is such a fantastic prize for anyone wanting to learn how to get organized in order to transform your home, reduce your stress and go from being overwhelmed to empowered.

I’ve had the opportunity to check out one of Aby’s workshops and I’m not kidding when I say that these workshops are top notch.  Information presented is so well organized you will have no problem finding your way around and staying on track of what you need to do and when.  Systems are in place so you can have your personal questions answered in a safe non-judgemental forum.  Aby herself is very active on the discussion boards providing such encouraging support and assistance.  Another thing I found most helpful is that the class materials are provided in a variety of formats including audio.  So you can learn in the style that suits you best inspiring you into action and success.  So great!

You won’t want to miss the other courses available as well including their holiday workshop bundle designed specifically to not only help you plan your Christmas holidays but to organize your holiday clutter afterwards as well.

The Organizing 101 prize will be awarded at the beginning of January to one person chosen at random from the list of participants in November and December.  Participating in both months gives you two entries.  For more information on participating in Org Junkie’s Month Round-Up please visit here.

Happy organizing everyone!

I don’t really have a “laundry room” as my washer/dryer is in the garage, but I could definately spruce up that corner of the garage as my husband seems to have taken over the rest of it!

I’ve been wanting to do something with my laundry room for a year now. It’s not disorganized, I just want to make it pretty. I’ll have to come up with something cool and get back with you. Thanks for the motivation.

Ooh, I’d love that for my laundry room/dungeon. It’s the last room in my house that needs organizing and I have no motivation for it.

My laundry room is small, actually just the back hall entry. But it was very well designed. It does need to be heavily decluttered cause that is where things get “left.” So I shall make it a point to get it decluttered and reorganized.

What a coincidence! We pulled everything out of our laundry room yesterday and it is all still sitting on top of my kitchen table. ;( Guess I know what we’ll be doing today.

I just this weekend had to rewash all of last winter’s clothes because I had left them in baskets on top of my dryer and they got covered in lint over the summer. I also was bitten by a spider that was hiding in a sweater that I dug out of that same basket. I really need this Round-Up and look forward to this being the first one I’ve participated in. Off to check out the past Round-ups to see what all is involved!

My laundry room is the pits. I’ll make some before and after pictures. If no one hears from me by January 1 please come looking for me. I’ll be the one under the pile of “stuff”.

I don’t have a laundry room – just a washer/dryer stuck in the corner of my son’s bathroom. :(

Boo Hoo

I’ve always wanted to make my laundry room a ‘happy place,’ since I spend half my life in there!

I am actually in the process of organizing the laundry room as we speak. My hubby just drywalled and painted this week!

Although I decluttered the top of the washer and dryer in August, the laundry room could use some reorganizing! What a great time to get to cracking on it and what a WONDERFUL prize!!! My laundry/mud room also serves as the dog house while we are at work! lol

I’m with AllyJo, my laundry room is fairly organized, but it needs some pretty-fying. Well, not some — a lot. I’m looking forward to doing something with it. :)
