Tomorrow is the day…the deadline to have your challenge complete! You have until 11:59 pm pacific time on Friday night (Nov 30) to get it done! In preparation for tomorrow I need to pass along a few instructions that will hopefully make this final process as painless as possible. I don’t want it to be complicated so if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.

Please refer to the original 30 Day Organizational Challenge post for a complete list of all the prizes and judging guidelines.

Late tonight I will post two separate posts with two separate Mr. Linky’s. One will be for the whole room category and one will be for the small space category. Here is where you need to pay attention….ONLY enter your completed space into ONE of the Mr. Linky’s. You choose which category you are entering your space into but it has to be one or the other. If you have done two separate spaces (a whole room and a small space) that you want to enter than please prepare two different posts and link up each individual post into the applicable corresponding Mr. Linky. Clear as mud right?

Your final post must contain BOTH your before and after pictures so I don’t have to jump back and forth between posts. You want to sell your space to me, try to make it as easy as possible for me to see your organizing efforts and what you have accomplished. It’s always nice when the “before” shot matches the “after” shot in terms of area/room view and camera angle. Please NO video!

****************

Also in order to ease the judging process even more I ask that you each answer the same following five questions:

1. What was the hardest part of the challenge for you and were you able to overcome it?

2. Tell us what kind of changes/habits you have put into place in order for your area/room to maintain its new order?

3. What did you do with the “stuff” you were able to purge out of your newly organized space?

4. Now that you have completed the challenge, do you think having and keeping your space organized will make a difference in your life?

6. Why do you think you should win the challenge?

****************

BONUS: Don’t forget to show me a picture of your purge pile in the trunk of your car on its way out!! Biggest pile wins the awesome bonus prize!

I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to see your finished spaces and celebrate your achievement along with you.

Thank you again to all our participants and a BIG thank you to all our sponsors for their generous donations:

Lifeorganizers ($200.00!)

Organize magazine (one year subscription)

Lara Gallagher (2 sets of organizing bags)

Christine Rice (A Life Less Cluttered book)

Stephanie Denton (The Organized Life book)

Family Travel Gear (kids car organizer compact)

Saanen Suds (gift basket)

*************

Good luck to everyone, see you back here tomorrow!

Getting organized means freeing up time and money to spend on the things that really matter…..spirituality, emotional well being, physical health and loving relationships.

I am so excited about this. In the end there are no losers because even if you didn’t win you did get more organized and that is always a good thing!

I wish I would’ve caught this in the beginning! I need that kick in the keister! You have motivated me in general though, so that’s still a good step!

I’m done and I can’t wait to take my final post out of “draft” stage and post it for everyone to see.

I am so bummed I didn’t join in, because I’ve been kicking butt over here this whole month. If only I had kept record of what I was doing…

Oh well, it’s nice to be in an orderly and more organized home anyway.

I’m out of town this weekend but can’t wait to catch-up on Monday and see how the shindig all when down. :-)

Take care,
Mercy

I just found these requirements. I didn’t have lots of time to look around for them before. I’m fixing my ‘final’ post right now to include both before and after shots… I did answer or talk about the first 5 things you had listed in the original challenge page. It’s probably too late to fix things… and the reward of my husband’s thanks is probably enough.
