Hello! I’m back and my summer of yes is coming to an end which is actually okay because I need a rest, ha! I’ve been in three different provinces this summer from the east to the west. And while I loved visiting with family and friends and making so many great memories, this introvert is definitely peopled out :). More pictures to come on my monthly favorites post.
Menu Plan Monday Announcement:
Now for some sad news. Today will be my last Menu Plan Monday post. I’ve been thinking about this for awhile and I think it’s time to take a break from posting my weekly menu. It’s really not a popular post yet it takes me quite a few hours to write up each week. Can you believe I’ve been sharing my menu with you every week for the past 15 years? Wow, that’s a long time!
But I think it may have run it’s course now so I’m going to give it a break. I am slightly worried though that I may slack on doing my menu plan up without you all for accountability. So I’ll have to see how it goes. Also I hear now that providing a linky is no longer seen as favorable with Google so there’s that. I’m not techy though so I can’t say for sure but I won’t be adding the linky tonight (sorry!). Either way it’s time to put it on hold for the foreseeable future. Thank you to all of you who have been faithful Menu Plan Monday participants and readers. You are the best!
And don’t worry if you still need menu planning help because I’ve got just the resource for you. Keep reading!

Hi Laura,
I will sure miss coming to Meal Plan Monday every Monday. I have been coming for about 10 years now and have always enjoyed the party and your organizational ideas. I personally know the time and effort that goes into running a link party and thank you for all the parties that you have hosted for us. My very best wishes for your continued success in the blogging world!

Laura, Boo! Hoo! I will miss the meal plans as I’ve come to rely on you for at least one meal from your post weekly. For instance, what would I do without your Blender Salsa recipe!?!?! ???? YUM!!! Blessings to you from Minnesota.

Wha??? OM Gosh, Laura, this is a big change. LOL. While I have slacked off on reading the weekly menus on a regular basis, it’s only because I’m working full time and rarely keep up with emails. I have so many favorite recipes from you though, and with all these tried and true meals in my tool box, I don’t always search out new ones. I thank you so very, very much for all the terrific recipes and links to websites with great recipes, and I’ll think of your Menu Plan Mondays with fondness every time I make that quick and easy homemade pizza dough (not the latest one you’ve been using, the one before that). This pizza dough recipe doesn’t even get put away, it just gets tucked behind my little kitchen countertop bin of essentials. Thank you!

You are so kind Ann, thank you for commenting!!

It was sometime before you stopped this that I had participated, though I faithfully read. I was just thinking about MPM tonight, for some reason. So I wanted to pop on and say thank you for all the years you did this.
I miss those earlier days of the blogging world when it was more casual, linky parties were a thing, and reading blogs felt like you were sitting at a friend’s table chatting.
