Hi friends, I’m alive! The flu took me out for pretty much all of last week and then I spent the weekend in the city at my son’s soccer tournament. So you know what that means right? My house is a huge mess and needing a little TLC. I’ve got my work cut out for me today. I’m sure hoping I get a lot accomplished.
Get Your Kids in the Kitchen:
I always try to encourage moms to get their kids in the kitchen helping out. It will absolutely pay off when they get older and can then cook an entire meal for YOU. Doesn’t that sound awesome? Believe me, it is! Want to get your kids in the kitchen but don’t know where to start? Be sure to grab this handy “Ages & Stages” guide for kids’ kitchen skills provided by the awesome people at Kids Cook Real Food. It’s so helpful and totally free to download.
Here’s what we’ll be eating for dinner this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Almond Crusted Ranch Chicken served with mashed potatoes and carrots
Tuesday: Chicken Pot Pie Soup (using leftover chicken)
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Honey-Garlic Baby Back Ribs served with rice and broccoli
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Dairy-Free Scrambled Eggs
Saturday: Easy Sheet Pan Steak Fajitas
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

I love when my boys are in the kitchen with me. The messes were bigger when they were younger but now they are old enough to clean up. WIN! Have a great week!
