Welcome to Menu Plan Monday!
Hi friends, happy almost new year!! Do you have any plans for this evening? We typically stay home and hang out and play games with my youngest (13). This year we also have my daughter (21) home from school so hopefully she’ll hang out with us too. My son got 5 new games for Christmas so that is exciting. I’m always looking for new family games to play so if you have a favorite I’d love to know which one.
At the start of the new year I always see so much interest in menu planning. I’ve always said that the best place to start on your organization journey is with a weekly menu plan. Having a menu plan frees up so much time for you to then concentrate on organizing other areas of your home. Or take a nap. You know whatever you need at the moment :). The point is menu planning is something you do for yourself to make life easier. It’s not suppose to complicate life. The trick is to be honest with yourself and the way your family eats and plan accordingly. For most of us that means quick and easy meals that get you in and out of the kitchen fast.
So whether you want to eat healthier this year or save time, money or even your sanity, menu planning is the way to do it. Start by doing three nights a week and see how it goes. After 13 years, I can seriously say it’s been a lifesaver for me.
Wellness Goals Workbook:
If you need a little menu planning help, I have good news. On Wednesday the Healthy Living Meal Planning Bundle goes on sale for one week only and it is pretty awesome this year. I’ll be back to tell you all about it later in the week.
In the mean time though the Ultimate Bundles team has put together a Makeover Your Wellness Goals Workbook that you might be interested in. It’s designed to help you identify what worked last year, where you want to improve for 2019, and how to set goals to make wellness a priority in 2019. With just a few pages to work through, you’ll be able to set 2-3 goals in no time. And since they’ll be goals you’ve thought through and that really matter to you, I have no doubt you can reach them.

And here’s to your best year yet!
