Welcome to Menu Plan Monday!
Hi friends! How was your weekend? It was so rainy here but that’s okay. It gave us the chance to organize our deep freezer which was very much needed. Does anyone else still have a chest freezer? Ours was a wedding gift 23 years ago and it’s still going strong.
A few years ago I shared how we keep our deep freezer organized. Even though it’s an older post, we still organize it this way. Check out the link HERE if organizing the deep freezer is on your list of things to do.
New Menu Planner:
I shared my new magnetic dry-erase menu planner in my Smart Back to School Strategies post last week but I thought you might like to see it as well. I picked it up at Walmart for $4 (in the school supplies section) and am loving it. It’s always exciting to try out a new menu planner 🙂
Now is the time to get those menus planned girls. Then we can relax and not stress out about what we are going to feed our family for dinner each night. Planning doesn’t have to be complicated. If it is, you are doing it wrong. A menu plan is just a rough guideline and not set in stone. Choose simple recipes, the fewer the ingredients the better. You’ll be so glad you did!
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Paleo Squash & Meatball Casserole (will cook my spaghetti squash in the microwave to save time)
Tuesday: Chicken Teriyaki Sheet Pan Dinner
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Pork Roast served with rice and corn on the cob
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Rosemary Garlic Flatbread
Saturday: Paleo Mongolian Beef
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!
