Hi everyone, welcome! Come on in, grab a pen and paper and get ready to jot down some meals for your menu plan this week. And if you’ve already got your menu plan done and are here to share it, well that’s just awesome too, thank you! It makes me so happy that we can all help each other out to have an organized week 🙂
My menu this week is inspired by fall. It’s definitely fall around these parts of northern Alberta, Canada. The leaves are changing colors and looking pretty as you can see from this picture I took on our Saturday drive. That big black cloud though was a little scary looking, yikes!
Our fall season here is typically so very short. We often get our first snowfall in October so I feel like I need to be stocking up on all the essentials. It has yet to happen but I always think I’m going to get snowed in for six months unable to get to the city to buy what I need. So I’ve already done a huge Costco haul to tied me over for awhile and on Saturday I picked up two buckets of honey from a local farm. It’s so yummy and should last me awhile 🙂
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Slow Cooker Apple Bacon Pork Roast (using honey instead of brown sugar) served with tossed salad
Tuesday: One Pan Autumn Chicken Dinner
Wednesday: Taco Salad with Creamy Avocado Dressing
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night! and for me Healthy Paleo Pumpkin Pancakes
Saturday: Butternut Squash and Bacon Salad with Maple-Rosemary Vinaigrette (without cheese)
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Look at those big tubs of honey! I love that. I always try to stock up, too. Though we (probably) won’t see snow until November or December here.
Checking out that apple bacon pork roast for sure. Yum! Thanks for hosting. 🙂

It’s smelling good in my slow cooker right now, hope it tastes good!

LMAO! I *had* to click through to find out what was in the containers. They looked like urine sample containers and I couldn’t figure out why you’d post that! lol We have some local honey places nearby. I should probably get some…fresh honey sounds yummy.

Hahaha…some others said the same thing on Instagram. I really need to improve my photography skills I think lol.

First snow in October?? And I thought upstate NY winters were rough… Not even close to that!
Laura Wittmann says
Yes the winters are sooooo long here…I love it but a couple of months of it would be enough 🙂

Ah, love the fall color you’re already enjoying. The temps are slightly cooler than they have been but the humidity is still so high that it feels like summer is never going to end in Florida. But I live in Florida so I can’t complain too much, right? Have a great week.

I would really like to live in Florida 🙂
