Hi everyone! The countdown is on, only 4 more sleeps until my 45th birthday and my big polka dot party! I’m so super excited about it but I have so much to accomplish before then. I was wondering why this birthday party seemed like so much more work to me than the big 40th I threw for myself. And that’s when I realized it was because I didn’t have my daughter helping me out this time. She is away at University and I am so missing her assistance this year. Last time she was making printables for me and helping with all the food prep. It was such a beautiful thing 🙂 Then if that didn’t make me sad enough I was at Costco yesterday and bought my middle son the last school backpack that I’ll ever buy him since he’ll begin his Grade 12 year in September. Yikes, so hard to believe, why do they have to grow up anyway?
So not sure if you saw this post this past weekend but contributor Rachel is continuing her pantry organization series. I love these tips! Here are the two posts to check out.
I’m keeping things pretty simple this week since we will have some warmer weather. What is your favorite warm weather meal?
