As an organizing junkie I have an incessant need to share my addiction with others. I love that this here blog gives me the platform I need to try and get others hooked along with me. It makes me so happy to hear from readers telling me that they’ve fallen in love with organizing and the difference it has made in their life. It’s what has motivated me to continue to blog here all these years.
This blogging thing has also given me the opportunity to connect and tribe with other organizing bloggers over this crazy passion we share. One of those bloggers, Toni from the lovely blog A Bowl Full of Lemons, has written a new organizing book that just released yesterday. I’ve already got it in my hot little hands and it is just awesome and so full of helpful organizing tips that I of course I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it. It’s another great tool to help me lure you into the wonderful world of organized living 🙂 I am positive you are going to love it as much as I do. I am also excited to be giving away a copy of the book today at the end of this post but first let me tell you a little bit about it.
From the beautiful and motivating pictures of organized spaces to the step by step easy to follow guide to organizing every area of your home, The Complete Guide of Home Organization (affiliate link) will help you conquer clutter and free yourself from the chaos and stress that comes with disorganization.
I especially enjoy the challenges presented throughout the book, such as creating a family launch pad and tackling your linen closet, and the included process steps for actually getting each of the tasks done. If you are overwhelmed with your home and need help getting organized, this book is for you!
I love the eye candy pictures on every page, many of them taken in Toni’s own home by Toni herself. She’s quite a talented girl that one and her house is GORGEOUS. So many great home organization tips for you to implement from the basic to the more detailed.
Tip #62 Designate a Place for Common Items
Keeping a space tidy is just as simple as sorting items into categories. Take the time to really think about which items you use on a daily basis, and then give them a distinct and consistent home that the whole family knows about — and remembers to use.
