Let’s not beat around the bush, shall we?  I’m just going to come right out and say it. Friends, this is the most amazing banana bread.  Ever.  EVER.  A bit ooey, a bit gooey, and absolutely bedazzled with chocolate chips and walnuts.  I dare you to try and take a bite with out tasting one or the other.

Not one.  Not two.  Not three.  FOUR bananas are packed into a single loaf of chocolate chip walnut banana bread.  That’s what gives it it’s beyond high moisture content.  This bread is rich and decadent.  Just like any treat should be if you ask me!  The fact that it has some bananas thrown in for good measure is just an added benefit.  And because of said bananas, that means this is totally an appropriate breakfast food!  Don’t you like how my mind works?

I made this today. OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! It’s moist, chocolatey, nutty, and probably the best banana bread I’ve ever had! The loaf probably weighs three or four pounds. It’s definitely one of those “special occasion” recipes! I think I’ll make a few to give away for Christmas!

This is the best banana bread I’ve ever made, great recipe! I do find that I have to split the batter in to two loaf pans for more even baking. The first time I tried this, it baked for over an hour and the middle was not all the way baked while the edges were overly browned. I’m sure this has something to do with my oven. This way I got 2, lol.

This is the best damn banana bread I’ve ever had and so so easy to make. I literally tell everyone I know about this recipe! I am actually making two loaves this Thursday for a potluck in my office and I cannot wait for everyone’s mouths to drop as they see for themselves how amazing it is!

This was the yummiest banana nut bread I’ve ever had! My husband was in heaven! I too had to cook it longer., about 75 minutes. Otherwise turned out great! I’m sure it varies oven to oven. Thank you so much for sharing.
