Friday Favorites: Simple Cleaning Routine, Organizing Small Spaces + more!

Happy Friday folks!  I am in the midst of helping my almost 17 year old pack rat daughter organize her room and we will be continuing with it this weekend.  It’s a slow slow process and I don’t want to rush her.  I want the decisions of what to part with and what to keep to be hers.  I am simply guiding her in the PROCESS steps.  Here is a picture of the donation pile that left our house this week and while not all of it was from my daughter’s room, a good chunk of it was.  I’m very proud of her.

She did allow me to take before pictures but didn’t give me permission to share them with the world wide web.  I’m thinking though that when it’s all said and done she’ll be so proud of what she has accomplished she’ll be excited to show it off.  We’ll see.

What organizing projects will you be working on this weekend?  Even if you only designate a short amount of time doing it, you’ll still be further ahead than you were before 🙂

  1. Does setting up two new computers count as organizing? It feels like it to me. A new anything always feels like a chance to re-organize and a renewed commitment to keeping it that way.

Thank you so much for contributing to, and promoting, the Professional Organizers Blog Carnival.
