Hi friends, how are you this fine Monday? I’m going to keep this short and sweet today as I know we are all busy. However keep in mind that it’s during these busy times that it’s especially important to have a menu plan. I know it’s hard to do when you have a million other things going on but if I can offer any kind of encouragement during this time, it would be not to neglect your menu planning. Trust me you’ll thank me later 🙂
This week I’m hosting dinner club at my house. My theme is red, white and green. Everyone has to bring food in those colors (we do potluck style) and dress in those colors as well. I’m really looking forward to it! Does anyone else participate in a dinner club each month?

I cannot believe it is so close to Christmas. I have been so busy with my kitchen remodel that the time has just slipped up on me. The house is a total disaster with everything emptied out of the kitchen. I get to start putting part of it back today. My new appliances are scheduled to arrive this morning, depends on if the passes are open or still closed due to snow. Tomorrow they come to measure the counter tops and then once they are installed I will have a kitchen sink again. How I miss my kitchen sink and the water dispenser for my fridge, the ice maker too. LOL
Sadly though, holiday baking just isn’t happening. I have however been keeping a few recipes in a folder to try out once my kitchen is up and running again. Will also be spending some time over the holidays to plan out some menus for the new year as well.
Merry Christmas all.
