Big Batch Holiday Party Punch
We had a church social on the weekend and I was in charge of preparing the punch. I have one of those handy punch servers (above) that are all the rage now. I purchased mine at Costco for $17.00. They hold a lot (11 liters) which is good since I needed to serve a crowd. However all the recipes I found that I wanted to try were for much smaller quantities. So I had to do math and it was so painful. Let’s just say math is not my strong suit. But after many tries, I finally figured it out and it tasted delicious and didn’t cost a whole lot to make. So to maybe save someone else from having to go through a math meltdown I thought I’d share my punch recipe with you.
Big Batch Holiday Party Punch
3 cups sweetened lemonade powdered drink mix
24 cups cold water
4 cups cranberry juice (not cocktail), chilled
1 2L bottle of lemon-lime soda, chilled
Frozen cranberries for garnish
Ice
Combine the drink mix, water and juice into punch server. Stir well until drink mix is dissolved. Stir in soda. Add additional cranberry juice if you prefer it a bit more tart. Top with frozen cranberries to make it a little more festive. Add some ice to keep it cold (or add ice to the reservoir underneath the pitcher). Serve immediately.
That’s it, easy and delicious!!
Enjoy!

Looks great Laura! How many do you think this serves?
I filled this container 3 times for about 65 people.
Looks delish! Now I want to make some!
Hi Laura!
Thanks for sharing your receipe! I am not a math person either, so I appreciate all of your hard work!
Thanks,
Karen
Sounds refreshing and not too sweet. Thanks for sharing. How many does it serve?

I like the dispenser and you’re right – the cranberries look very festive!! Bravo!!
Thank you for doing the math for us! We hosted a party last night with 25 people and everyone loved this drink! One batch was enough for the night. We also had water, beer, and other cocktail mixings available. Some people added rum or vodka to their punch and enjoyed it that way. THANKS!
Yay, so happy to hear that!!!! Math is hard, so glad it worked out! 🙂
