A 10 minute walk was all it took to recharge my batteries. A 10 minute walk to clear my head and help me put the day into perspective.
A 10 minute walk to ease the tension in my shoulders and savor the beauty of God’s creation all around me.
It brought a smile to my face as I soaked it all in and I laughed as the kids ran circles around me.
10 minutes.
That’s all it took to feel like a whole new me.
10 minutes…..make time.

I think it’s especially important to get outside this time of year to soak in all that Vitamin D before it starts getting dark and cold! Thanks for sharing your photos. The trees are changing here in Mass., and I can’t get enough of being outside!

Laura, this spoke to me in many ways … the “make time,” the “10 minutes,” the photographs. All simple pleasures that are so often ignored. You’ve inspired me today. In a big way! Thanks a million for linking up with my Simple Pleasures series. You’re a natural. Hope to see you often.

Isn’t amazing what a ten minute break can do?
Beautiful pictures! Down here in my part of Texas, we don’t really get autumn leaves, but I sure do love looking at pictures of the changing colors!

I’ve been in a funk this week since my kids are keeping me up most of the night and I’m super tired… that, and tomorrow I turn 30! Eek! I think I’ll use this post as the boost I needed… I’ll be going for a walk when I get home tonight! Thanks!

So very true…even just a ten minute break spent appreciating nature can make such a significant difference in your day! Thank you for the much-needed reminder of this simple pleasure, for I’ve been cooped up indoors battling chores all day, and am needing a little nature break!

That truly is beautiful!
Funny that you posted that today. I was sitting here about an hour ago, falling asleep and thinking that I don’t have time for a nap and I just need to get up and get started on something. A rustling caught my attention and when I saw where it was coming from, I said to my puppy, “Why are you into everything this morning?! Can you just lay down?……are you bored? Let’s grab a toy and go outside.”
15 minutes later I was recharged and he was worn out. I walked in the door and got right to work, he went right to sleep…win/win.
Have a great day!

I have really been bad about taking my daily walk since my husband has been out of town so much.
You are spot on. Just a short one would begin to change my day.

I enjoyed this very much. This sort of 10 minutes a day should be a priority for all of us.

Gorgeous weather you’re having! Happy for you that you took the time to recharge 🙂 … it’s so true that we think we can’t take even small bits of time for ourselves, when sometimes that’s all we need to feel like brand-new women.

Gosh I thinking today that I’m gonna get me and children and we are gonna plant flowers, with the busy days of school, homework, and the routine of day alot of times I forget the value of spending quality time with them, its not all about what u buy for them its about time together and its the little things that count the most and with looking at your pictures today it shows that.

I’m liking the beautiful scenery in your new town. I love going to the lake at this time of year! And you’re so right, it doesn’t take a lot of time to be rejuvinated with beautiful nature like that around.

These are very beautiful pictures. If you are surrounded with such nature beauty 10 min is enough to relax you and forget your all tensions.

Amazing…and that you live so close to that kind of open green space is a blessing too. After the freak-of-nature storms we’ve just had in Austin, I look at these pics and long for spring…….
