Holy cow, what a day! I am in total shock. I am a HUGE fan of the Pioneer Woman site and have been entering Ree’s amazing giveaways for forever and today I finally won one! Look what’s coming to make my holiday baking a little more cheery and fun. I’ve wanted one for so long, I still can’t believe it!
I may have wept a little and then I might have even screamed. Ree holds giveaways with prizes as awesome as this ALL THE TIME with a gazillion of entries which makes the winning even more sweet 🙂 Thank you Pioneer Woman!
And then if that weren’t enough I also won another giveaway today over at Simply Delightful Designs (you can read more about it here) that also completely knocked my socks off! And yes I know I just got my site all spiffied up, but I have a ton of ideas for how to use this prize (if Jenny agrees) that will hopefully benefit all of my wonderful readers when you visit here. I’m so excited about the possibilities!
What amazing blessings during a completely difficult and trying couple of weeks. It’s nice to have some good news. Thank you to everyone that emailed me and left comments to let me know I won after seeing my name over at Ree’s site. That was awesome. I have high hopes that with my new little red machine I’m going to be able to make all sorts of delicious cookies like Ree’s Favorite Christmas Cookies from Childhood and Beyond. Sooooo not likely that mine will ever look like that but hey at least I’ll have fun trying now right?! 🙂

My parents gave me a bright red mixer as a house warming gift a few months ago. It replaced a perfectly fine gray one, but I have ALWAYS wanted a bright red one. I display it so that I can see it all the time and it makes me smile every single day.

Wow, I can’t beleive you won! I was going to go into the running for one of her giveaways, but then I noticed that their was 18,000 entries…”Forget it” I thought,” I’m never going to win”! OOOOH I remember when I got mine! DH was deployed somewhere hot and sandy and bought it online for me for Christmas, and had it sent to our APO! You shoulda seen the looks I got as I walked out of the Post Office, a grin that wrapped around to the back of my head plastered onto my face, hugging my Kitchenaid box!
