Organizing my desk…..
My friend Marcia is having a little tidy desk competition. Lucky for me tidying my desk (not to mention my whole office) was part of my organizing frenzy of last week. I have the WORST desk ever, not a single drawer to be found and no doors to hide anything away. Uggg. But making do with what I have is what I must do for now until I can afford something else. The reason we have this desk in the first place is that in our previous (very small) home we had no office space so we created a “closet office” in a closet that was in our dining room and this desk fit perfectly inside. Only then we could just close the closet doors and didn’t have to look at it….sigh.

And that little three drawer container on the bottom shelf? Just a new home for all my hubbie’s little bits of paper that seem to accumulate everywhere. I think he was quite happy with it too!

Looks great! My desk is situatuated so it’s really the first thing you see when you come in the front door (our dining room is our school room) so all the more reason to keep it nice now.

Our computer desk has no storage either. Not even a disk rack. I was just telling my friend yesterday I don’t have a desk to store any papers or anything like that so I’ve always got a paper problem. I’ve always wanted a roll top desk with a million cubbies and drawers. *sigh* maybe one of these fine years.
Our computer desk is alot like yours – no storage space. It does have a disk rack which isn’t being use because we currently have 2 computers on our 1 desk. One desktop and one laptop. It’s a bit crowded but I really need to do something about it!! lol I have paper strewn all over the desk and it’s a real mess. You have given me some ideas and I will be posting a before pic and an after pic of the desk sometime this week. I haven’t looked at the desk contest so, I might not make it into that, but it still needs to be done, right?!?!?
