Menu Plan Monday – August 13th

Hello friends! This week I’m visiting at my brother’s house in Toronto. I don’t have a menu to share because we’ll be out and about a lot this week which will probably mean dinners out. The kids are very excited to go to Canada’s Wonderland on Tuesday!

I have been, however, enjoying the latest issue of Light and Tasty and can’t wait to try out some of the many delicious recipes when I get home. I’m sure you know by now how much I love these Taste of Home magazines!

The recipe for Makeover Mexican Rollups sound so good! I just couldn’t leave you again this week without a recipe…lol.

Anyway I’m sorry I’ve neglected you gals but we have been so busy here and I don’t have a lot of computer time. Please forgive me and know that the freak will be back in tip top freak shape in no time. You can count on it!

WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU?

  5. Only found your site today – and I thought I was the only one that got all excited about containers, filing, baskets etc 🙂

  6. Thanks for hosting, even from away on vacation. You *are* the woman! Enjoy your wonderful break, and have safe travels. Sounds like fun!

  7. Keep on having a wonderful time! So happy for you that you can take such a nice long vacation and spend so much time with family.

  8. I enjoy Taste of Home, too. It’s nice to have a source of recipes that aren’t too outlandish, expensive, or full of hard to find ingredients that won’t get used for other dishes.

  9. I didn’t know about this meal plan thing. I usually do a Month’s plan because I am not organized enough to do it every week. Okay, I am not always organized to do it every month either, but I find it easier. I will be back to check things out.

    This is a good idea.

  10. Holy Cow, laura! Look at the participation in this. Final proof…I’m obviously the only person in all of Bloggityville who flies by the seat of her pants when it comes to cooking for a week. LOL

I stopped by here to thank you for the adorable birthday card and to tell you I think your new business card rocks. Love it! And thank you for remembering my birthday. At 57, I’m trying to forget it. 🙂

  11. One of my favorites. I like cooking light as well! I am slacking this week already, hope that doesn’t set the tone for the rest of the week. UGH. Posting late.

  12. Mine is up for this week! Considering the busy week I have had, I am impressed! Have a great one guys!

  13. Hope you’re having a great time, Laura. I loved Toronto when I was there.
BBQ Hamburgers tonight! I like to make up extra, and then the kids (hungry teens) can have one for a snack the next day 🙂
