We interrupt organizing mania for a…..miracle!

A few months ago I posted about Annie, one of my bestest girlfriends, and her husband Ron and the journey they are on with the diagnosis of Ron’s brain tumor last December. In fact a little over a month ago he was only given 5 days to live. Fast forward to today….not only is he still with us, doing well and getting stronger every day, he is now getting to go home from the hospital! Praise God! I am so overjoyed at this amazing news. I’m shouting “Yahoo!” Beth Moore style, oh yes I am!

Both Annie and Ron have remained strong in their faith and are hanging on tight to God’s mercy and assurances. Prayers are being answered!!!! It is such an incredible story yet the fight is far from over. Please continue to pray for Ron’s eyesight and his complete healing. God willing, Ron will beat this enemy permanently!

Annie posts when she can at the blog she started here for this purpose and Kim at One Day at a Time, who doesn’t know Annie or Ron, but has been praying faithfully for them, has also done a beautiful post complete with a timeline of Ron’s journey. Won’t you please visit Annie and let her know you are praying for them.

Shout to the Lord, all the earth let us sing,
Power and majesty, praise to the King
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar,
At the sound of your name
I sing for joy at the work of your hands
Forever I’ll love you, forever I’ll stand
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.

  1. That is amazing news Laura. I am rejoicing with ya’ll. My mother-in-law was diagnoses with a rare cancer a few years ago. The stats were that 95% of the people die within six months…it was scary, and it was hard to watch her go through treatments but she was the first person they had ever given a clean bill of health to with that cancer – ever. You begin to realize how precious time is and how nothing is guaranteed.

  2. Hallelujah! Praise the Lord, Ron is coming home for Easter!

And we can see that God you’re moving
A mighty river through the nations
And young and old will turn to Jesus
    Fling wide your heavenly gates
Prepare the way of the risen Lord

  4. Praise God indeed! rejoicing with you and your friends. It always refreshes me to see God at work in situations like this. Even Christians tend to “doubt” medical statistics, but God can do anything, can’t He?

(and I’m a Beth Moore fan too, oh yes I am sistah!)
