And it just keeps coming….

I’m totally willing to share if anyone wants some because I’ve had ENOUGH already!!!

  1. How lovely!

We had NO snow last year and none this year as of yet.

The kids are getting a little grumpy as we usually get at least one small snowstorm per year.

  2. Oh my goodness! I haven’t seen snow like that in years. We are having a rather warm winter in my part of the world! I wouldn’t mind having a little of that snow…I’m sure you wouldn’t mind sending a little my way, huh? Stay Warm! 😉

  3. Hey Sis,

You could always come out this way. We have had barely enought to cover the ground this year :):)

  4. Oh! I am so very jealous! We lived near Rochester, NY for a couple of years and got lots of snow the first year we were there and absolutely LOVED it! Have a great weekend.

  5. You are too funny! I wish we could box some up and ship down here to North Carolina. We had just a dusting yesterday and my kids loved it.

  6. Bless your heart. Word is we have some of that on it’s way here in West Texas today – but I must say – it sure looks beautiful in your pictures!

    Hang in there!

  7. Wow…now that’s a lot of snow! We’ve had some smatterings here and there, but nothing to contend with in the Valley. Hang in there…spring will come!

  8. That is an awful lot of snow. Wish we could take some of it. My son has been begging to play in the snow…but we haven’t had any to play in yet. 🙁

  9. OMG Laura!!!!!!!!! I think our weather is reversed, that’s what Ontario SHOULD look like (check out my blog to see what it looks like, our VERY first significant snowfall lol)

  10. Wow that is way more snow than we got and we’re now sitting in the midst of a howling chinook so it’s starting to look messy. Hope it warms up a bit for ya!

  11. Holy cow Laura! We got 22 inches 3 Christmas’s ago…..that was enough for all of us….it was the only snow fall we had that year….enjoy honey…hope you went to the grocery already. We are supposed to get ice Saturday night.

  12. Well believe it or not, even with all this snow, we’ve never had a snow day. Our snow removal here is unbelieveably efficient. We aren’t experiencing any ice just tons of the white stuff! Thank God for snowblowers!

  13. Oh my!! That is more snow than I’ve ever seen in my lifetime!! My kids would have an absolute blast in that, but I bet it would get old quick! Hope you all are staying warm!!

  14. Oh well, no thank you, you can keep it. 🙂 I like to look at it, just don’t know if I would want to live in it. 🙂

  15. I’d love to take some off your hands if I could! Not much chance of the white stuff here in Florida! Thanks for the pretty pics, though!

  16. You didn’t get a snow day from that? I guarantee that would shut Texas down for weeks. 🙂
Is it really up to your porch roof, or is that a drift after the snowplow came or something? I really can’t even imagine so much snow.

  17. Hi Kelli, nope not one snow day…but you are right some of what you see on the front is the blown snow from the street blowers but my backyard has about three feet. I can no longer see out my front window.

  18. We don’t have the massive amounts of snow that keep coming… but the frigid temps don’t seem to be letting up. I’m tired of windchill advisories and temps in single digits with below zero windchills.

I’m ready for Spring!! Or at least a bit warmer and more tolerable conditions. I take it you are too!! 🙂

Just think how much we will appreciate it when it finally comes!

  19. We STILL haven’t had any snow with our “winter storm”. We’ve had some sleet and we’ve had some freezing rain, and we have had more than enough ice, but still no snow!

  20. OMG! I’m with Momof2 and that’s more snow than I’ve ever seen in my life!! My kids would LOVE that. We haven’t had any snow in 2 years. Even then is was only about an inch and gone by the afternoon. That much snow would definitely shut Atlanta down!!

  21. OH.MY.GOODNESS.

    OH MY.

Our snow just doesn’t compare, huh? (Pics on my page.) I don’t know what we’d do down here if we had several feet. Our town would probably completely shut down. Half of it shut down just because of a couple of inches. Seriously.

Stay warm! Hope the kids don’t drive you too crazy!

  22. No snow in central Indiana, to speak of – though rumor has it that we might see some on Sunday (whatever!).
I wanted it at Christmas, but since THAT didn’t happen, I’m over it now!

  23. I can completely relate!! We’ve had weekly snow storms for five weeks now, not including the two back-to-back blizzards in December!! =) My poor husband has put in over 100 hours of overtime and has had only 3 days off… total. *Sigh* I am so ready for spring!!

  24. Oh my goodness Laura, that is a LOT of snow!! Living down here in Texas we don’t normally see much of that, but this past week has been very cold for us, and we even had a couple of inches on Wednesday! It was great! But I am already ready for it to warm up again! A week of this weather is way more than enough for me! BUT that first picture is SO beautiful, it looks like a postcard, and the other one…now that is just crazy, your house is almost completely buried!!

  25. Laura, I love you and all, but NO thanks LOL I’m hoping for warmer weather, I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired of snow and cold LOL Did that make sense???

Beautiful pictures though, I always enjoy a good snow picture 🙂

    Hugs,
    Sandra

  26. Oh my word, Laura! That’s just way, way too much snow. SOME snow is fun. But that’s a force to be reckoned with.

It is, however, completely beautiful. I’m sure it looks better from my vantage point, but still it’s just gorgeous.

    Stay warm, my friend.

  27. I will take some of that snow. Send it on over to MN! For the last couple of years we haven’t had enough for the kids to make a fort. You’ve got quite a collection going on over there. *smile*

    Blessings,
    Theresa :o)

  28. Dang, All I’ve got are beaches and palm trees. Hubby dragged us all off to Hawaii for a couple of years and here I sit in this miserable sunshine. It’s hot here and I WANT SNOW!!!! (In my best Lucille Ball….) WAHHHA!
    Tammi

  29. Oh my Anonymous…HAWAII!!! I would so trade spaces with you in a heartbeat. I got married in Hawaii 12 years ago and haven’t been back since.

    Laura

  30. What is a snow day? I wish. Imagine what they would think if they saw my place, I can’t see the house across the street anymore and when we shovel we have to throw it up and hope it makes it to the top of the bank, but like you say we have excellent snow removal. I so want to go to Terrace, I’m really feeling the cabin fever setting in, and it would be nice to see the sun again. Oh well I guess if you ski you like this white c p but not me. I’ve had enough. See ya Sue
