Hello everyone! This week will be an insanely busy week for me, as I’m sure it will be for the rest of you, which is why creating a menu plan for myself this week was extra important. So even though I’m tired and not really feeling like I have the energy to come up with anything creative I just know that my week would be that much more stressful if I didn’t do it.
I also want to apologize in advance if I’m not able to get around to visit each of your menu’s but please know that I’m happy to have you here participating.
I think we will skip MPM next week seeing how it is Christmas and all and I’m certain we’ll be living off the leftovers anyways…lol.
May your week be not too hectic!
Monday: Fresh deli pasta and sauce….quick and easy
Tuesday: Slow Cooker Southwestern Chicken (Fix it and Forget it Lightly Pg 11)
Wednesday: Slow Cooker Teriyaki Pork Roast with roasted rosemary red potatoes
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Chicken fingers and fries
Saturday: Christmas Fondue party!!! and this is what I’m making for dessert but shhh don’t tell my guests 🙂
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Is that terriyaki pork roast from the Taste of Home mag? I had that on my menu this week till my dh came home and said they didn’t have any boneless so he didn’t get the meat for it. LOL I’m making a beef roast instead! That’s ok, gotta love that, I have made it several times this Fall already….YUM!
You sound so incredibly busy. We are having a low key Christmas with just us and my dad. I like having a lot of people over but it just doesn’t happen often. Hey, I hope you get a chance to get a couple of breathers and down time in there somewhere.
Hugs,
Jenn

Hi, Laura! Thanks for hosting Menu Plan Mondays, as usual! I like coming to your menu plans for slow cooker ideas! 😀
I did see your comment last week about the ad; just wanted to let you know I got the message, and I appreciate you removing the Planned Parenthood ad! 🙂

It’s not wrong to question.
If you’ve ever read Eccliastes (sp?) it’s pretty depressing, and Solomon was the wisest man ever… He KNEW much more than most and he walked around bemoaning life and the way things worked.
I’ve studied philosophy though, and your argument is not logical. 3 and 4 are allowed but aren’t caused by God. You allow men to die from hunger everytime you waste money (me too) and don’t send it on to charity, but you didn’t cause that death. God didn’t either.
You’re not perfect, and aren’t claiming to be, but God’s perfection doesn’t hinge on the fact that he allowed something you don’t like to happen.
We are given free will, because otherwise we’d all love him because we HAD to and not because we WANT to and why would he want to create a world of Stepford people (am I dating myself here?).
His love is unconditional, but ours isn’t. We either choose to love our creator or we don’t. Our choice doesn’t affect his existence…

It’s sound like a great week to be eating in your house! With our travel in a couple of days, I’m doing not a menu this week, but I’ll jump back on board on New Years. Merry Christmas!

I think I would travel to Canada for that dessert on Saturday!
