Menu Plan Monday

Happy Labor Day everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I know its a holiday and you might not feel up to menu planning but for me I definitely need to be organized this week as the kids are back to school tomorrow. So things will be a bit chaotic for us as we get back into the swing of things…..last thing I want to worry about is dinner!

So here goes:

Monday: Sausage, potato patties and frozen veggies
Tuesday: Slow cooker San Francisco Chops with rice and broccoli
Wednesday: Slow cooker Creamy Ham and Potatoes with carrots
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Italian Tortellini Stew – slow cooker recipe from Stacy

Are you menu planning this week? Leave your link below.

Enjoy your day!

  1. This is my first time posting a Menu Planning Monday. I am new to blogging and could not figure out how to link from my post to yours. I will eventually. Thanks for hosting it. Menu planning has always helped at our house.

  2. I need to really start paying attention to these (and maybe even soon participate) as I will be doing the meal planning now that I will “be home” again!

Hoping to find some great ideas and recipes through this. Thanks!

  3. Hi Laura,
I don’t have a blog url for your links so I thought I would add my menu plan here at least. Here it is:
Monday – Cheese fondue with carrots, broccoli, mushrooms and bread.
Tuesday – Chicken, green beans and rice
Wednesday – Spaghetti and meat sauce
    Thursday – Taco Thursday!!
    Friday – Order in pizza
    Cheers
    P.S. I love your blog!!!

  4. Hey Anonymous, thanks for posting your menu. Cheese fondue is something we do at Christmas only around here but I love it so much I am wondering why we don’t do it more often. I’ll have to keep that in mind. Laura

  5. My menu is now up… we were away all day, but now we’re back and I was eager to get here and check in. This is really helping me to get my menu planning done early in the week!

  6. OOOHHHHH, San Francisco Pork chops is one of our favorite recipies! We do them stovetop too for quick version.

  7. Thank you for menu sharing! 🙂 I really like how you link to the recipes. That creamy ham and potato dish sounds like a winter dream! I might have to get organized and join in one of these days. You have great ideas!

  8. Okay — I finally got to it. I finally (after two weeks) didn’t have out of town guests to distract me from my menu planning and shopping time!

    Love your new look!!

  9. Hi there, Laura! 🙂 I came over here from Sandra’s blog and just thought that I would say hi. I love to organize, too! 🙂 I’m also a “Bathtub Junkie.” LOL! 🙂 I love your site! Take care!

  10. Not sure why you cannot see my posting section. I tried it in Firefox and in IE and I can see it fine. Maybe it was a blogger glitch earlier today? *shrugging* Sorry I don’t have an answer for you. Maybe just try it again later and see. Thanks for popping over to my main blog and letting me know, though. 🙂

  11. Hey! Thanks for fixing my link – I don’t know why it didn’t work, but I appreciate your checking it out!

  12. I’m a day late, but mine is up now at my blog.

Laura – I love that you linked to the 2 crockpot recipes. Have you tried these before? They both sound good. I have a recipe for SF chops in the skillet, but haven’t made them in a couple of years. I’ve been putting pork chops in the crockpot with italian dressing, or on the grill, for a while now. I will definitely check out these recipes, and that website. Thanks for the link!

Hope the Italian Tortellini Stew is to your liking. I always feel really healthy eating it, hehehe! 🙂

    Have a great week!

  13. This is my time doing Menu Monday. I liked this better than I thought I would. it wasn’t as hard as I thought either.

Thank you Laura for hosting this.

  14. I did try that creamy ham and potatoes, so if you stuck to your plan, we had it the same night!! I actually liked it a lot. I had a little left, and my son likes a good hearty soup, so I think I’m going to blend it a bit and make soup!
