Tackle it Tuesday ~ Organizing my kitchen drawer
I’ve stumbled upon an excellent weekly feature over at Five Minutes For Mom. This is right up my alley and I couldn’t wait to participate! If you have been putting off doing some organizing projects because you don’t know where to start how about one project at a time on Tackle It Tuesday! I think its an excellent way to keep on track and also document your accomplishments as well. Today I tackled one of my junk drawers in the kitchen….the kitchen “tools” junk drawer. Not too exciting but since I always forget to take pictures of my “before” this is all I could come up with at the last minute. I’m going to try and remember to take photos of my projects for this feature from now on.

Ohhhhh… I love it! I especially love the organized container of jumbo clips. I love jumbo clips, but I’ve never owned one. Hmmmm. Gotta get me some.

I am just trying to catch up from being away last week. So happy that you are tackling with us. As Susan sais – we are honoured to have you!!
Wow. I have determined never again to have a junk drawer. If it doesn’t have a home, I don’t need it. No more hodge podge piles of stuff. I use baskets to corral clutter when I’m cleaning and put it away at a later time. I have gotten better over the years about keeping up with this and it’s easier now that the habit is established.
Where do you get baskets that fit in drawers like that? Maybe I just have a weird sized kitchen but I have never seen anything like that
Your drawer looks much better after organize it! My drawers also need to get organized. Maybe this weekend I should do it.
