Hi friends! For those that are regular menu planners, do you ever feel like not doing it? Yep me too. Some days I sit down to menu plan and can find five meals in about 10 minutes but other days it takes forever because nothing sounds good to me. On those down days I have to force myself to just do it. Why? Because experience has taught me that I will absolutely regret it if I don’t do it. So I get it done in order to have an easier week, a healthier week, and a less stressful week. How about you?
Did you see the post I wrote last week? I sat down and collected seven of our favorite tried and true recipes that are not only delicious but easy (easier) for kids to make as well. Nothing complicated or fancy, just simple recipes to help you get dinner on the table quickly each night.
So no more excuses, get those kids helping you in the kitchen!
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week in my house.
My Weekly Menu Plan:
Monday: Quick Chicken Soup with green smoothies
Tuesday: Easy Roasted Kielbasa and Veggies
Wednesday: One Pan Lemon Chicken with Asparagus
Thursday: Leftover buffet
Friday: Pizza Party Friday Night with 5 minute homemade pizza dough and for me Paleo Pizza
Saturday: Pork Chops with Honey-Garlic Sauce (subbing the soy sauce with coconut aminos) served with broccoli
Sunday: YOYO (you’re on your own!)
Have a wonderful week everyone!!

Thanks for the link back to the recipes kids can cook. I may have to put my boys to work next time I feel unmotivated. There are weeks I have to really force myself to menu plan as well, it’s so nice to have a plan there even if I don’t end up following it at all. Hope you have a great week!

Yes I don’t always follow our menu plan exactly either but it sure is nice to have when I can’t think straight after a rough day 🙂

That one pan lemon chicken looks amazing! I love chicken with lemon – it’s such a wonderful flavor combo!

I do too but my husband doesn’t really like it so I only get away with it once and awhile 🙂
