Easy Candy Cane Cheesecake Recipe

This is one of my go to recipes at Christmas time.  It is so easy and quick to throw together and yet it tastes AMAZING!!  I love that I can make it ahead of time and have it in the freezer ready to go when I need a quick dessert.  It looks so festive too!  I use a store-bought crust but of course you could make you own as well.  Whatever works for you and the time you have available.  Enjoy!!

Candy Cane Cheesecake

Ingredients:

2 pkgs 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Sprinkle of cinnamon
1 graham crust
25 Hershey Candy Cane Kisses

Tip:  Sprinkling cinnamon on a store bought crust, makes it taste more like homemade 🙂

Directions:

Beat together softened cream cheese and sugar.  Add eggs and vanilla and continue to beat until pretty smooth (a few lumps are okay).

Remove wrap from the candy kisses and melt in the microwave for about 1 minute.  Give a quick stir at the half way point.

Mix together batter and melted kisses and pour into prepared crust (don’t forget to sprinkle some cinnamon on your crust!)

Bake on 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until center is firm.

Let cool and freeze.  Best served thawed with a dollop of whip cream!

Enjoy the deliciousness 🙂

  1. Looks delicious! Might try to find the mini graham cracker crusts so we can pull them out of the freezer and eat as desired 😉

  2. This is a great recipe and the second year I have made it. I like to use an Oreo cookie crust (chocolate crumbs) although they can be harder to find. This year I believe I found it at Target.

    1. Hmmm that’s a good question Carolyn. Here in Canada our crusts only come in one size. I don’t have any on hand to check but I want to say it’s a 9 inch. If I find out different I will let you know.
