Isn’t that new button so cute?  I’ve been helping Cathy from Desperately Seeking WordPress with some purse organization (that I’ll hopefully be showing you tomorrow) and she went and made a lovely MPM button for me in return.  I just love it!  You are more than welcome to use it on your own site as well if you like.  Thanks again Cathy!

So last week we did it, we made it over 400 participants!  In fact I believe we were at 430!  That’s a lot of happy households my friends, woohoo 🙂  I said that if we made it over 400 I’d giveaway the Summer Slow Cooker Meals Taste of Home cookbook to a random winner.  That winner is A Couch With A View!!  Thanks everyone, I hope you enjoyed a week of less stress for having had a menu plan 🙂

Since last week was so much fun I’ve decided to do another giveaway this week except I’m making this one open to everyone.  In other words, you don’t have to link up a menu plan to enter, all you have to do is leave a comment on this post.  I’m so excited to let you know that this week you have the opportunity to win some menu planning help from Kate at Stolen Moments Menu Planning!   Kate is offering either a 3-month subscription to the complete (breakfast, lunch and dinner) plan or a 6-month subscription to the basic (dinners only) plan. The winner can pick which option they’d prefer.

This service is different from other menu planning options out there because it is fully personalized to your family’s size, likes, dislikes, cooking styles and budget. Kate takes your answers from a brief survey to create unique menu plans tailored just for your family. Each plan includes the menu, recipes and a corresponding grocery list.  You can choose to have your plans delivered monthly or weekly.   For more information, check out the Stolen Moments Menu Planning site and order page.  I haven’t seen another menu planning service that offers this much personalization and attention to your family’s unique needs.  In honor of today’s giveaway Kate has set up a unique discount page for orgjunkie readers here.  Simply put in the password frugal and you will be able to lock in at the rate of $5.95 per month for basic and $12.50 per month for complete.  Sample menu plans can be seen hereTo enter the giveaway just leave a comment on this post before Wednesday, September 30th at 6:00 pm PST to be eligible.

Okay so here is what my family will be eating this week:

Monday: Caesar Chicken Pasta Salad

Tuesday: Dinner at friends – I’m going to bring some Glazed Chocolate Chip Brownies

Wednesday: Cheese Stuffed Meatloaf served with rice and broccoli

Thursday: Son’s 10th birthday!  His pick = grilled steak (with this Easy Marinade) and baked potatoes

Friday: Leftover buffet

Saturday: Rustic Italian Tortellini Soup

Simple Supper Sunday

    Have fun celebrating!!

  4. I love reading your menu plans! I love seeing what other people are eating and get new ideas. This would be a great prize to win since my 3 little boys are very picky eaters and we end up eating the same thing or they just skip meals.

  5. I would love to win this! I’m sure my kids would enjoy their suggestions. We need to try the bagel pizzas.

  6. Thanks for hosting such a great giveaway!

I was going to work on menu planning/cooking this evening but our power has been out now for about 6 hous now so that sorta put a damper on it.

Instead I spent a real nice afternoon visiting some parks with our daughter and a candlelit evening with my husband!

  7. That is a pretty button. I am new to posting on your menu section but think it is great. I have recently started posting my menus on my blog and thought I’d chime in on your meme with mine thus far.

  8. I forgot to put in my link that I’m new. This is the first time I’ve linked to Menu Planning Monday, although I’ve been following it and enjoying other people’s menu plans for some time now. Hope to continue to participate in the future – and I’ll figure out the “button” stuff too – the new one is very nice!

  20. Happy Birthday to your son! Great day to be born. I will only be a ‘few’ years older.
Thanks for the yummy links, too!

  21. I would love a chance to win some HELP with keeping up with menu planning. I work full-time and have 2 kids, fall into the not wanting to think about it mode. I do love your site and admire all those moms who make it looks soo easy!

  22. Cute new button and awesome giveaway! I am horrible about menu plans and usually end up eating the same ole thing because I Can’t come up with other stuff. This would be a lifesaver.

  23. Congratulations on getting such participation with Menu planning Monday. I love the new icon and will definitely start using it in my own menus. This is a great site for meal inspiration.

  24. Hi! Good Morning, my husband left yesterday for NY for 3 weeks 🙁 I need some new, EASY & QUICK meals! I need to start using my slowcooker, does anyone know a great website for that? Thanks!

  25. I love your site and this weekly posting. I get so many great suggestions from you and your readers and am inspired to make many wonderful meals for my family. Cooking for my family and having family dinners is a way I have of expressing love to my family so I appreciate any help I can get from my new friends I have found on this site. Blessings – Kim

  26. I could desperately use menu planning help. I always have good intentions, but they never seem to pan out. Thanks!!

  27. I am really in need of help in the menu planning area – this giveaway would really be a blessing to me and my family — thanks for the opportunity!

  28. Thanks for hosting MPM. I’m still getting the hang of things but it is pretty fun.

I like the idea of chicken ceaser pasta. I’ll have to check that recipe out and try it soon.

  29. I just found your site from 5dollar dinners. I am a beginner in the menu planning world. I would love to win this give away.

    Thanks.

  30. I am clueless as to how to get the links to work correctly. I thought I had figured it out but it still looks like it goes to the whole blog and not the one post. Sorry about that, hope I haven’t messed anything up in my experiments with linking. I have read all the instructions, and I must need a more simplified “Links for Dummies” lesson.

  31. I am a menu planner. I can’t BELIEVE the difference it has made in my life AND my budget. I don’t post a link because I don’t blog it. 🙁
I thought I’d leave a comment this week though since we don’t have to link up!! 🙂 Monday is my day to make my menu and I ALWAYS check in with you first for ideas!! Thanks SO much for this – I often get inspiration from you. The giveaway is SO exciting!! I would love to win – I often have a block when I try to plan.
    Thanks again!! 🙂

  32. I love your site. I used to menu plan but fell off the wagon. I am trying to get back to it because it is so much easier. I would love to win the giveaway. The monday menu planning is really nice to get ideas from. Thanks so much!

  33. Thanks for a great giveaway! I’ve already bookmarked the recipe for the soup. I will definitely give it a try soon!

  34. I love the idea of sharing menus and recipe ideas this way. It’s productive and creative at once! Thank you for the inspiration! 🙂

  35. Your site is so very helpful. I try to do weekly dinner menu plans, but sometimes (a lot of times) it does not happen. I would love to have the help of a personalized plan made up just for my family.

  36. What a great giveaway – I’ve tried others, but my 9 year old, who used to eat anything, is getting pickier by the day.

  37. I love the idea of having someone else plan the menus. We’ve been menu planning since February and while we have our “staple” meals and rotations, it is easy for me to get stuck in a rut. I always feel like the hardest thing to do is to come up with new ideas for dishes that my family will like, even though I love to try new things. I think that having Stolen Moments come up with a few months of recipes would help us to mix up our standard plans and give us a chance to try new things. I also love that it sounds like they’ll work within our specified budget- as food costs vary quite a bit family to family. I’d love a chance to win!

  38. Just found your blog and decided to join you today 🙂 I have a hard time planning for a meal everyday, so I think this will help me decide what’s for dinner. Thank you!!!!!

  39. Love your site. Great ideas and tips! Maybe this will keep my menu planning on track. I plan and it tends to fall off the radar by the end of the week!

  40. mmm, I can’t wait for cooler weather to arrive in my neck of the woods (or desert, as the case may be) so I won’t mind having the oven on for an hour or more. I can’t wait to start making my yummy wintertime meals!

I made your apple pork chops last week. They were SO yummy! Thanks for another recipe to add to my cookbook!!

  41. Love the meatloaf idea! My husband used to love my meatloaf recipe, but I think he is tired of it! LOL!

Thanks for MPM, I’m going strong on 8 weeks and throwing away lots less food and shopping smarter!

Thanks for the giveaway opportunities. I love your site! 🙂

  42. Made the corny chili today and my youngest ate and liked chili for the first time. I still can’t convince my older daughter to “love” chili but there’s hope. Thanks for posting the link to the recipe.

  43. I actually got a meal plan together this weekend and was so excited to finally participate!!LOL Yea, I used to meal plan weekly but had gotten out of the habit. How silly of me. Life runs so much smoother with a plan. 😉

  44. I’ve gotten some g-r-e-a-t recipes for my meal planning through your site. Thanks for all your hard work compiling them!

    Jayne

  45. I love your button! I also would LOVE this service! Anyhow, maybe next week I will get organized enough to make a menu! I am trying to make one right now, I just don’t have very many good ideas!

  48. Hi, I’m too sick to do a menu plan this week (hubby is taking care of it), so I’m glad you opened the giveaway up to everyone.

Sure miss my meal organizing, though. My husband is adrift in the kitchen! 🙂

  49. I do menu-plan, but don’t have a blog – otherwise, I’d be on your list every week. So be assured, there’s one more out there! 😉

  50. I love this idea. I discovered your menu planning about a month ago and I have rediscovered my love of cooking! Thank you so much!

  51. I am so inspired with all the menu planning thanks to your blog! I’ve been considering the Stolen Moments service and may just have to go and treat myself as an early holiday present!
    Mary

  52. I’ll definitely be checking out this service. I’ve tried one menu plan service and wasn’t impressed with it because it didn’t meet my family’s needs!

  53. This is a great site! Only found you yesterday and I’m hoping that you can help me finally get a menu-plan underway! My mind just has a hard time grasping the concept of planning ahead!

  54. the giveaway sounds wonderful. after 27+ years of marriage, i’m really in a “same old, same old” sort of rut. i try new things sometimes, but resort back to the ones we’ve always used. i’m ready for new things in life.

  55. I don’t know if it’s just me, but I can’t see any of the links that are normally here for Menu Planning Monday. I normally can & I saw them earlier in the week. Since it’s October 1st, so the links get cleared at the end of the month? Hmmm?

Thanks for all your great ideas! Erinn
