Menu Plan Monday ~ August 4th

by Laura on August 3, 2008

in Menu Plan Monday

I made it home today but I’m barely functioning.  Phew I am worn out, I just can’t keep up with those young’ins anymore.  However a big thanks to the three amazing cooks who cooked for us all week.  What an absolute treat!  Our head cook was 83 years old!  My gosh was I ever blown away by her commitment to the kids and her energy.  Unbelievable!

I so could have backed out of doing my menu planning this week and if it wasn’t for you guys it would have been so easy to.  I appreciate you showing up here each week to keep me on track because a few minutes today saves me tremendous grief all week.

So here we go:

Monday: Grilled Chicken Caesar Wraps

Tuesday: Shredded Beef Barbecue on buns

Wednesday: Hearty Spaghetti Sauce

Thursday: Leftover buffet

Friday: Creamy Chicken Rice Soup served with Cheddar Dill Biscuits

Saturday: Southwest Lasagna Rolls

Sunday: Going to a wedding!

Have a great week everyone!!

WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU?

I like the chicken wraps – that would be a great way to cook without making too much heat. Thanks!

Hi Laura and all like minded women on this great site. I just found you. I have been menu planning on line since Feb and have been all alone out there!! Finding this site is a terrific boost for me!! I am a working mother of three teens who are eating me out of house and home and we enjoy trying different foods and recipes. My menus are usually inspired by the grocery ads! Hope you enjoy checking out our meals! Drop by!

I’m making dinner for a friend who just delivered her 9th child. The Southwest Lasagna Rolls sounds like something they would enjoy. Gonna try it. :) Thanks!
