Menu Plan Monday - April 16th

Okay so this week I’m back to the crockpot with two new recipes. The first one is a chicken recipe that Susanne posted not long ago that freaks me out a little because it contains 40 cloves of garlic! Yikes! I was sure that was a typo but she assures me it is not and that it is really very good so I’m giving it a shot! The other crockpot recipe is a new one as well but it sure looks easy which is why I’ve chosen it.

This week I also wanted to mention another new site that I found that is just starting up. I have not purchased from her but it does look like a great service so I thought I would pass it along to you. Ruth is a SAHM from Australia and has created Menu in a Box which offers 8 family friendly weekly menus along with 40 recipes and 8 corresponding shopping lists in PDF format all for $20.00 Australian.

I didn’t get a chance to get around to all your different menu plans last week with Monday being the holiday. Maybe I’ll have more time to visit today, I’m looking for some new recipes to bookmark!

Have a great week!!

Here’s what we’ll be eating:

Monday: Fajitas
Tuesday: Slow cooker 40 Clove Garlic Chicken served with mashed potatoes and broccoli
Wednesday: Slow cooker Tender Pork Roast served over rice with steamed carrots
Thursday: Leftover Buffet
Friday: Zucchini Sausage Pasta

WHAT’S ON YOUR MENU THIS WEEK?

The 40 cloves of garlic chicken is YUMMY! The garlic gets a sweet taste to it. Though I’ve never tried it in the crockpot. For some reason, I’m not crazy how chicken turns out being cooked in the crockpot. But the garlic is a GOOD thing!!!!
